Hi everyone,

When I joined the forum, I was really excited by the postings and videos you guys produced. It kinda rekindles my love for fs. I have to admit that I was a nuisance at first, kept asking people go hunt with me (I guess bro mindstorm got fedup and finally hunted with me ). When I first caught Lone ranger, I thought wow its really big but when I caught Saphire, whew thats a huge one...full of confidence I entered SG with a winning team I thought could prevail as King team even in sg.

Upon seeing Mentor, my heart stop for a while...man thats huge (somemore a chopster)..well, no fight you wont know so I bravely put saphire up on the stage hoping at least long fight can save some dignity even losing. Turn out kena chop kaw kaw and narrow escape else the butt will burst result from being chop .. the rest of the team lose thoroughly, sad sad....t-rex was the undisputed champ then, couldnt even fight him already close shop cause all fs lost

I thought I will be demotivated because of that but somehow once I step on KL soil, I went hunting rampage again. My desire to get a bigger better fighter could not be turn off due to the motivation born out of losing tremendously in sg . my persistency paid off when i caught Kompany and he was the longest fs in my captivity. though he did not win me many matches and did not prevail as king to what my expectation was by then, he will always be in my mind as the result of my persistency which was motivated by ongoing interest of people in this forum.

I got back home during lunch hour yesterday and found Kompany not moving, he's dead... its sad to see him dead but he has done his part for making me proud as the owner of an incredible fs who has extreme will to live on even after breaking his arm tip about a month plus ago. RIP Kompany 6/6/2011 - 6/9/2011.

In between owning Kompany, i did catch some good sizes fs and decided to go in sg again. This time, I was more precautious and learn a few tips from sg kakis, yet my expectation turn out to be true, lost badly again coupled with unwanted incidences such as breaking fs leg accidentally, fs escape but that is no excuse for losing badly, I only blame my lack of experience in raring, training my fs. Having witness good sizes fs in sg such as Cloud and Merlion, my motivation was again turn on. With little experience, tips and perhaps luck, I think I can do better the next trip to sg.

My determination was higher than ever since then with constant posting and comments of new fses/videos/guidance by sg kakis. Man, this forum is really giving me a lot of determination & motivation to carry on the hobby that I enjoy all along. I find myself learning a lot thanks to documented fights, infos, and videos not forgetting grewing together with the HK t-sub slings through stages.

End of the day, its really wonderful to have plenty of knowledgeable peoples sharing their thoughts and views on this forum which bring people like me through a quest of questions.... I look forward to learn more, seeing more good battles through videos from this nice, harmony environment that persisted in my memory when i first joined.

Hi everyone,

There's something I found out while kompany is alive. When he was fed the lc worm, he looks strong and healthy/jumpy but once fed on baby crickets, he slow down (probably because pinheads are juicy and yummy he ate a lot and made him fat thus dont really wanna walk). And maybe according to bro Ricky, the pinheads has strong legs which hurt fs teeth when they try to consume it (I somehow agree with him because the pinheads are still kicking when its being consume).

I was wondering if kompany is being fed the lc worm, will he live longer?

Hey bro Sofian,

I think the other alternative can be lc worm, its easy to breed and they multiply really really fast. if you keep 30 of them it will multiply to 1000 in a month.Problem for food was solved thanks to bro Ricky and bro Randy for introducing lc worms.

p/s : I think bro Randy have tons of them, try get some from him or I can bring some for you my next trip to sg next week. Bro Randy gave me about hundreds of them last time and now i have thousands of them

Bro Sofian,

My personal experience shows that fs love crickets more than the lc worms but the lc worm is more healthy and somehow make the fs stronger. its tough though to feed them lc worms baby cause you need to pick the smaller ones which the skin has not harden. the fs wont be able to penetrate through the skin of those lc worms which has harden (the colour is darker if the skin has harden).

Just drop the lc worm in front of the fs and see them feast on it. Try to drop smaller lc worm at first then slowly try the bigger ones when the fs get use to it.

I have to agree with you, I personally think t-bha is a very strong will fs and a top notch on form t-bha will not lose so easily or ended up being food for t-sub. I also agree with what bro mindstorm said about our understanding about t-bha based on the videos. I do not think t-bha is that superior because i've never witness a video of an aggressive t-bha male or a fight worth the claim..do share if there are videos as such (eg t-sub eating t-bha or a multiple chop fight not merely pushing). I've winess once a a t-bha being pounce by a 'kwai pow' (different species of spider) and therefore only believe what my eye sees..

p/s : Im excited to see a t-bha due to its size and perhaps a fair fight with t-bha?

Hi Everyone,

I currently keep 7 sub adults (4 from lalang, 1 from genting and 2 from pandan) and 1 moulted yesterday. caught 3 subs from genting but only retained this one cause that 2 moulted last week and was very small hence released.







he's too fat cause i kept feeding before moulting process and thats the reason why he dont muve much also thats why easy to take pics

heard bro seng saying he once put his fs in the fridge for 2 weeks and they survived. tempted with the idea, I put GT countach in the fridge (thought it will be chilling for him too as he was from a cold place, Genting). this is how he look like when i open the fridge this afternoon..




I put 2 fs in the fridge (gt countach and GT big sub) but withdrew GT big sub later (lucky lucky )

It has been quite long since I last posted fs fights. Was actually busy with work and also keeping the sub adult healthy. All my sub adult has molted and looks quite big (will post some photos if got time). seems like its easier to get a sizeable fs from sub adult that to hunt cause u can pump the sub before they moult. the biggest sub currently length 7.4mm (caught from genting) but ice cream fighter. maybe need few more weeks to train or watsoever.

Great tournament in SG, I went hunting on Saturday and caught a few sizeable fs in a new area (people's farm). With my newly moulted fs, I currently keep about 15 untested fs which I hope to have the time to test it tonight. While feeding yesterday, I recorded one of my longest fight with 2 newly caught fs.

Hi bro Rudy,

Its all luck, when you get a sub make sure you feed them kaw kaw everyday because after they molt, their size will almost double (thanks to bro Ricky for telling me this). I was lucky cause they molted after 2-3 weeks in captivity means you still have time to pump them. last saturday i caught 2 more sub, 1 molted yesterday so no time to feed thats why size very small. have chance to keep longer too if you caught them from sub adult

u can try one yourself to see the result but no gurantee they will be good fighter even good size, training part bro viper is pro, im currently on experimental ground in every aspect regarding to fs.

The GT sub is big but arm not very long, ice cream fighter (when he's in mood he will fight). Heli is the one who launch far chop, halo is smaller.


Hi everyone,

Im back hunting and seems like its fs season over here now. Im keeping about 14 fses now and all are ML and above. The smallest caught also measure 6.8mm. I think because of the raining season, the fs grow bigger. Im really busy now as I spend a lot of time feeding them, especially the 4 newly caught sub adult.. I hope you guys will have this season there soon.


I have recorded 1 fight, heli lost to lalang II and a pic that I wanted to share. this fs in the pic is totally white in colour, head, legs, body all white. At first I thought its old but he's very active and the jerkiness is never like an old man. anyone wanna share why the fs is white?

p/s : the fs in pic is really white, the green colour shown is actually not green, its white. maybe because my phone camera is not as good as the macro cameras thats why got colour reflection.
