QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Jun 4 2010, 11:09 AM) what's so good about this card? because of the cash rebate given on Friday at 5% for all retail transactions + online bill... other days @ 2% Soon, this card will collapse and they will change the term n condition as they can't afford to offer this anymore. Actually, they "use" MBF Click n Pay as the bridge to pay on behalf if I am not mistaken.

Sometimes I really dislike myself and banks.
The recent late charges and interest imposed (i think almost 1 year +) really high and sukc people.
I forgot to pay my Ambank card on due date and only realised on day 4. Was charged on late charges RM39 and interest of RM44+.
I made full payment on day 4 after realised...
Last time before this implementation, late interest was just charged until date of full payment.
Now it is calculated till the next billing cycle regardless when you made the payment.

QUOTE(sexy_linda @ Jun 22 2010, 07:23 AM) hi there, wanna ask if i cash out rm 30k (credit limit) of hsbc credit card, after i make easy pyment method (total rm 60k devide by 24, i have to pay rm 2500 per month) so the question is: 1. i can pay 5% from rm 2500 for every month payment rite? 2. how much is the interest (generally) if i pay only 5% from rm 2500? please advise I don't know your "If I cash out 30k and I make easy payment (total 60k)" got related to each other or not since it is impossible for you to do easy payment method if you withdraw through ATM UNLESS you made it at those "merchant" that offering this kind of easy scheme method. Answer to your questions. 1. Yes, you can pay minimum the remaining balance will be kena 1.5% a month from statement date, not remaining balance on payment date. 2. 2350 x 1.5%

How to avoid banks to always call me and offer personal loan or BT, especially Standard Chartered which I will never go back to them for any services provided.

QUOTE(dr2k3 @ Jun 25 2010, 09:50 AM) haha true....but you still can check your CC status online once in awhile....you will still manage to dispute the unauthorized transaction within 30days of CC statement wonder if can report to BNM that they misuse our privacy by selling to other departments within the same organisation for offering other services. Instead, BNM should come out a guide or rule that allows consumers to choose not to be contacted for any promotion or offers.

RHB is good also when I e-mailed them for the waiver of outstanding balance derived from late and interest charges on small outstanding balance that could not be repaid using online banking since the minimum payment is RM10.00
They waived all outstanding balance including the previous small amount due.

QUOTE(jotep1991 @ Jun 29 2010, 11:39 AM) What are the differences between "Outstanding Payment Balance" and "Full Payment Due"? Outstanding Statement Balance: 825.49 Minimum Payment: 92.00 Full Payment Due: 1825.49 So which figure I have to pay to settle my credit card? Outstanding statement balance is the amount due on statement date and you need to pay in full in order to avoid interest charges. Full payment due is the total amount due as at to date i.e statement amount due + unbilled transactions Under your case, I believe you did not pay your previous amount due on last statement and you need to pay it + current month due... i think la.. QUOTE(winner @ Aug 9 2010, 10:26 PM) DAMN it!!! Last Friday I used my SCB JustOne card to swipe RM1200 at a furniture shop. I kept reminding the retailer to select credit function. The transaction successfully went through and I just looked at the amount correctly without checking the card number on the transaction slip. To my surprise, when I checked my transactions online just now, I noticed that the transaction done at the furniture shop on last Friday was actually from the debit card. And the stupid retailer made me lost 5% cash back. This is the danger of the credit cum debit card. Next time don't keep so much money in current a/c
