QUOTE(spikey2506 @ Aug 17 2010, 11:19 PM) Wow, nice~~ And timely also, as I'm seeking to replace my CIMB MC with another MC. CIMB MC has very little benefits that I can utilize. I'm using Direct Access Mastercard. Been satisfactory with its 2% fuel rebate and 5% at Giant/Tesco/Guardian. But now OCBC seems more attractive with 5% rebates for dining/petrol/utilities. Despite without rebate at hypermarket, the 5% utilities rebate already suffice for me.This post has been edited by chemistry: Aug 17 2010, 11:34 PM |

I wonder why such a good card that offers 5% rebate has such low income requirement. OCBC is really determined to grab some market share, haha.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Aug 18 2010, 10:46 PM) Yes Mind to tell how the RM1000 is spent ?I kind of hope the maximum cash back can be earned is higher though. Based on my spending pattern, i can only spend RM1000/month on this card. Basically, it means i can't take advantage of the 1% cash back at all I believe groceries & petrol & utilities contribute at least 75% of household spending. |

QUOTE(roshen43 @ Aug 18 2010, 11:35 PM) HI, i am interested to get my 1st credit card. my monthly income is 2.1k can anyone recommend me? prefer credit cards that link to petrol station.. Give Direct Access Mastercard a try.2% fuel rebate at all stations nationwide. Absolutely free for life, no minimum swipe or spending. However, GST RM50 still applies. |

OCBC Titanium's 5% rebate sounds good but be noted that the total rebate of principal& supp card is capped at RM50.
For those who spend a lot in a particular category of merchant, this card is not suitable. |
