Is it recommended to apply for jobs directly through Jobstreet? The reason I'm asking is because there is no where for me to put in my cover letter except for the 300 character pitch which is hardly enough to write anything meaningful as a fresh grad.
I do not know how much employers here care about cover letters or how much they value using Jobstreet's systems to screen potential employees.
Besides that, there is no direct way to send a different resume depending on the job I'm applying to.
Try to apply both directly and via jobstreet. I have received quite a number of interview invitation via Jobstreet. The best would be to email to HR personnel directly, instead of going through the general email. Cover letter plays a less significant role in Jobstreet nonetheless.
