hey guys. im a final semester degree student, mechanical engineering. i wish to start sending out job applications but im having a dilemma about my resume. i have two versions of it, the 1st was as recommended by my university's HR officer, the other as recommended by my career & alumni officer. some of their tips kind of clashed.

i hope there's anyone out there who are willing to have a look at both resumes and advise me which one is better. i dont feel comfortable sharing my details in public so please PM me if u can lend some help smile.gif

thanks

i would like to ask what's the general opinion about including photos here?

i have read numerous articles online about writing CVs but a lot mentioned that it's not a good idea to include a photo, as well as details like race, religion and so on. The reason was so the company cannot be accused of any discrimination.

I wonder if this applies to malaysia?

haha yes. i didnt include mine to save space tongue.gif but not sure about the photo though. i prefer not to include to a) save space and b) no need to print colour. i wonder if they are any advantages?
