TS, you are mixing up the concept of a curricullum vitae (CV) & Cover letter.
There is no need to mention your credentials(UTM, NIOSH) in a cover letter, that should be in your CV.
A cover letter should be how you fit in the applied post and how you can contribute. You can make a referal to your CV in the cover letter.
