I'm a final year, final semester Accounting and Finance undergrad student who is applying to various financial institutions, banks, investment banks, investment houses, fund management firms, consulting firms/groups and such for Graduate Programmes or a fresh-grad job.

Graduate Programmes are common in this line and caters for freshies who are just out from college/uni. However, they close their application dates really early (especially Australian firms/banks). Like for 2011 intakes, they already almost closed all their applications. I hope to make it in time for a few.

Should I send in a resume or a cv? I have had 7 months experience in working as a Barista, 2 months internship in Auditing in PricewaterhouseCoopers and 2 months internship in Islamic Capital Markets in Securities Commission Malaysia.

CV or Resume? I know the difference between the two but am trying to figure out which is more appropriate. I read the employers from the Middle East, Africa and Asia usually prefer CVs, while the rest of the world prefer resumes. As a fresh grad, I think they might prefer my CV? Please advice me.

If you don't know the difference between the two, please do not advice me. Thank you and have a good day wink.gif
