QUOTE(Mayomythical @ Apr 30 2012, 03:29 PM) my 2 cents. I prefer the 320D F30 (which is what I ended up buying) since the ride is a little bit softer than the e90. Oh and also the cabin space, feels bigger which is good for my baby boy. nice bro, but what makes u get the 320d? btw.. share your experience.. i might get Melbourne red as well, currently waiting for CKD release.. QUOTE(Happyman @ May 15 2012, 04:05 PM) August 2012. 328i priced at very close to 300k. Do not expect 270-280k for 328i, it is not going to happen. well alot of rumours saying that 328s SKD is around 280k. Its all over bmwclubmalaysia, those guys have good relations with the management Added on May 15, 2012, 4:33 pmQUOTE(DaBestOne @ May 15 2012, 02:28 PM) When can we expect the launch of CKD versions? Any of u guys got frens driving the new f30 328 sports?
Still thinking worth or not to throw 289k for it.
Test drove and really like it. Usual like the power and dislike the steering feel. Really like driving a luxury Japanese car. Power really is good no doubt and slightly dislike the loud noise of engine idle.
Should top up 50 grand for 520d? Like the comfortness the 5 got to offer but I am looking for spirited driving, f10 is much nicer also

I felt suspension was ok for me maybe I have not really driven a real luxury car. Only seat in my dads s class.
Resale value definitely is one of main reason. Hmmm I really like the new engine despite the loud noise.
So it's power vs comfort. One thing I dislike 5 is that it's bigger and really not very convenient for city driving. Nowadays car parks are smaller, roads also.. A lot of cars around.

Loan no problem. So now is final decision whether to get the F30 328I sports trim or not
After reading the compilation of problems in BMW club Malaysia, abit worried.
CBU or SKD both have its own problem. wind noise seems be common problem.
Test drive the car and i love the performance. Everything seems ok and i quite like it. the problem is i have not had any luxury sports sedan b4. thats why i find overall car is really superb.
Knowing those problems, anyone would still get it?

QUOTE(IluvProton @ Oct 5 2012, 12:02 PM) I like the white . last choice is black .... everyday clean the car till scare.... Tarak read. hahahah... 2 years only..... aiyo..... cham white is nice but quite common nowadays. Not white hard to take care rite? I like black but previous e46 was black too. Showroom, the red looks sharp and nice with lighting. But outside under the sun looks dull.

QUOTE(echoesian @ Oct 23 2012, 11:45 PM) Feels like going to change my mind after reading all the complaints of F30 owners in bmwclubmalaysia forum.... Hahahaha same like me but last week finally paid booking fees coz left one unit of my color choice. Loan documents all approved so just waiting to do some insurance transfer and down payment. Too tempting regardless the problem. I initially checked my car, the rust in the seat frame is there but not too obvious. SA promised to replace it once they get instruction frm Germany. The new 320i comes with black coating so mostly they gonna coat it. Haven't pay dp so I can't test drive the car for the steering rack and other stuff. Raining often and no fogging from the unit I booked. So hopefully no problem..

My F30 328i CKD Sports, Melbourne Red finally arrived over the weekend. Havent rempit it due to break in (which i believe it does matter) Overall power is overwhelming.. No funny front absorber or steering sound. Just some minor rust in the seat. Change M-performance kidney grille and side mirror cover

QUOTE(hengguowei @ Nov 24 2012, 11:24 PM) Just a quick question. Is it bad to drive the car at higher RPM? If it is, at what RPM am I not stressing the engine that much? I'm driving an E36 318i (15 close to 16 year old car) Been accelerating hard since I started driving this a couple months back. ofcourse it does strain the engine if always drive in high RPM.

QUOTE(cy97 @ Dec 1 2012, 06:37 PM) Is e46 BMW 318 year registered 07 made 02 expensive to maintain. Second hand selling at 50+k worth buy? Why 318? It's very underpowered. 1k is about nice to maintain. Roughly service is around 600 to 800.. Ofcourse don't service all the time but roughly 3 months once. Furthermore old cars have more risk of breakdown. Really need prepare some money for emergency lol..

Every continental parts replacement sure is super expensive.
With new cars having warranty even more expensive as need use back genuine parts to keep the warranty.
If recon and used u can still opt for aftermarket parts but certain like drive train and engine have no choice.
I just got my new f30 about a month ago. Wanna change suspension but worried will void warranty but original m performance is so damn expensive.
