HDTV gurus,

I am planning to get an LED tv with full HD, there are just too many choices to choose from and I've narrowed down my choice to the Samsung brand. Any recommendations between the series 6, 7 or 8?

i went to homedec yesterday and the UA55B7000 was priced at 11k if im not mistaken.

please advice.

i heard models with B are the older versions while the newer versions are C. usually what would be the difference? and how much is a 8 series 55 inch?

B are 09 production models and C are 10 models.

The C model should be the 3D models already. There is a unit of Series 7 55" 3D model on display at Sunway HN. List price is at 18999 IIRC.
So Series 8 should be more expensive I think.


Have not read what is the diff for C models but for B models for 7 & 8 series the only diff is 100hz vs 200 hz.

200hz is critical to ensure 3D tv support.

hmmmm so if i dont want the 3D stuff, i should just get the B versions instead right. are there new 2010 models with no 3D. i asked a best denki dude he said buy new version better.

Why not go for 3D TV.....? Shall be new feature for future movie?
