Does cuttlefish (dried ones) like the Dahfa provide calcium for the turtle?..

am intending to feed a betta (Siamese fighting fish) to my RES 2molo..is it good?..for protein intake...

U referring to this guy ? Even the " line" becomes distorted ! They just do maybe due to stress or some shock( fallen or hit by something when young ) but wrong diet or enviroment when young or before bought by you will also cause this !!

Took another close look at the picture u posted .
Its not common for bigger size tort to develop these fused scutes ( the top middle 3 ? ) - your Radi more than 6 but less than 10 inch ? Or otherwise . Just guesstimating !

My male radi started sniffing n piggyback his friend around 13inch n female lay eggs around 14 inch !!

Or maybe ur that radi not digesting his food or calcium properly ? Can't be 100% n there's no sure answer to this !! Just give more fibrous food to slow down it's growth a little so the fused scutes can " catch up "

Hi

This morning 7am when I went to feed my turtles, I found one was stuck - one of his rear legs was sucked by the filter hose.  I dont know how long he was stuck there, it could be anytime after 1:30am (coz my daughter did check on them right before she went to sleep, at that time all are fine).

After carefully pulled his leg out, he landed at the bottom of the tank with head and all legs out and not moving.  I took him out of the tank and keep him separately in a container with very shallow water.  He couldnt quite lift his head up, he just rest his head on the stone I put inside the container.

His leg is very swollen and both top and bottom parts seem to have blisters.

Just wonder whether the leg will de-swell by itself?  How about the blisters?  Is there anything I can apply onto his leg?

How should I keep him for the time being?

At the same time, would he suffer any side effects later on for being under water for whatever duration (max 5.5hours) he was stucked?

I am at work now and I ask my mum and daughters to keep an eye on him.

We hope that he will recover.  We are so worried.  My younger daughter burst into tears the minute I took him out.
