Go to adpost.com/my and search there. There's somebody selling them. You can choose to either buy the animals or even catch the seller. Depends which side you are on LOL!

QUOTE(camillenoir @ Oct 6 2010, 05:40 PM) let us just pretend to be sellers and sell out these "prospective buyers with some collection at home" once we get their details. i'm sure that the wildlife department would be glad to catch some smallfries for scapegoating purposes at the moment AGREED! Why don't you start first? LOL! |

That's one fine setup. What's the dimension and cost for such setup?
Added on October 9, 2010, 12:28 pmAlright, I just saw the dimension. What's the cost? Thanks This post has been edited by Azazel: Oct 9 2010, 12:28 PM |

QUOTE(vivtch @ Oct 10 2010, 09:43 AM) Thank you for all the praise. Thanks for the reply. That's quite a hefty price for some RES. But I am sure they will be happy in their new home Azazel, so far, I have spent approx. RM1400 which excludes metal works as dad has yet to give me the bill. RM1400 is only for the main components such as fiberglass tank, eheim 2217, hydor ario colour 2. Cami, thanks. Will research more before putting any live plants in the enclosure. BenSow, am I allowed to disclose names here? I found 2 traders. For retail, only standard sizes. Customised sizes allowed if big quantity. p.s. Maybe you should get something like this to complement your new (and should I say AWESOME!) setup. Just a thought... Regards Attached thumbnail(s) |

This question is directed to Camil:
"Is turtle breeding a profitable venture?" I am sure Sam will answer "yes". But he is different. He can even profit from selling sh1ts (literally). So, I want to hear your views on this. And Sam, please be quiet aight |

QUOTE(camillenoir @ Oct 27 2010, 07:33 PM) in relation to other reptiles you've been doing so far, the answer is a definite NO. I received the same photos from Fred (all the way from Germany) and more when I wanted to buy some a few years ago. LOL!reasons: 1) takes ages to sexually mature 2) takes more space 3) much more setup requirement (water/land area, basking light) 4) more overhead costs (electricity, water bills, high food intake) 5) niche market 6) some of those most profitable stuff (morphs aside) are things that can't be obtained or traded without legal whatnots. if you ask nonono, of course his answer will be YES. but he's different. he feeds albino redfoot corns, puts albino sulcata under direct midday sun and answers questions like ah beng, but he can still make sales LOLLLL Added on October 28, 2010, 9:41 amBy the way, they are no means regular redfoots. They are cherry heads. ![]() Just for info. Regards Added on October 28, 2010, 9:49 amAnd to Mamak Kimak (aka Perhilitan SCUM), please snapshot this statement and store in my file (if you have one) - THEY ARE NOT MINE! THEY ARE STILL IN GERMANY YOU STUPID FUC.K! LMAO! This post has been edited by Azazel: Oct 28 2010, 09:49 AM |

QUOTE(reptileskingdom @ Oct 28 2010, 12:51 PM) He is?! It's like saying "God is with you! Godspeed!" LOL!Anyway, I was just wondering because a friend from Indonesia is breeding them like nobody's business...from sulcatas to even malayemys subtrijugas. One species after another! While over here, macam nak mampus sial nak breed. I think I need to drop by and have a look on how they do it la. Macam senang gila jer... Added on October 28, 2010, 1:29 pmAnother thing is that I was asking about turtles and not tortoises This post has been edited by Azazel: Oct 28 2010, 01:29 PM |

QUOTE(reptileskingdom @ Oct 28 2010, 01:48 PM) Turtle: You know where to market them aint. Should have big market there. Saw some photos and videos. Lots of them being offer for sale, and good price too. True! But I am more concerned on how to breed them rather than how to market them. So far, I have seen quite a number of failures in Malaysia. I am not sure why but I think it's husbandry related. Or are they really that hard to keep and breed?Another thing is that, is there such thing as an albino Callagur borneoensis in captivity? Added on October 28, 2010, 2:59 pmOk. I just checked with CITES. I'm stoked! This post has been edited by Azazel: Oct 28 2010, 02:59 PM |

QUOTE(SAMPERTH @ Oct 30 2010, 09:43 PM) Wow !! Noted! I stated hard because the one who has been trying stated as such (ie very hard). Personally I haven't tried breeding them myself. Don't intend too though due to their size (big) and status (CITES).How are they now ? SOLD ? Added on October 30, 2010, 10:13 pm I prefer tortoise over turtle breeding/ venture due to water management ....etc -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sulcata ?? How hard is that sp ? Now my 6 year old son is in-charge of his "sulcata big brother" (Male is 7+ yrs bought as hatchling) and his wife (bought as WC adult @15" June 2008 ) This pair lives at home !! 1st clutch somewhere December 2009 - 30/?? eggs (never found the nest only found 30 hatchlings when they hatch ) 2nd clutch March 2010 - 18/21 eggs 3rd clutch September 2010 - ??/31 eggs I believe the Female is from a huge Sulcata shipment sometime back in April or May 2008 Paid RM 5xxx for her to pair up with my lone Male sulcata By the way, at what size you breed your cherries? I am not sure whether it's me or the tortoises but quite a number of mine are slowing down in their growth, eventhough they have been feeding like pigs. |

I see him always. He is still the same as before. Well maybe a little more hornier. Will try and drop by to his place again this November if I have the time.
P.s. Have you been to his new place where he keeps most of his animals? If not, then I think you should because it's freaking cool! |

Are those Stars, Ynis, Elong and Manourias? Which is which I don't know. They all look the same i.e. like pingpong balls LOL!
When you want to start producing morphs? Albino, hypos and axanthic cherries are already in the market leh. Don't forget the albino, hypos and ivory sulcatas. Go get them |
