even last month when my friend bought A42Jv@RM2799 also get ram 2gb for RM150...

Well, then just create back the shortcut and put it under startup folder in the start menu...
if don't want that method, open regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run then create new DWord and put in the ELAN .exe path....
or easier, reinstall back and it will do it for you...

Yup, my friend one with OC the i5 450M and GT335M, both reach 90C, but the palm rest still cool, just the hot air coming out...

Is your anti virus scanning? or try to lift up the back of the notebook with something, this is assuming the heat is trapped on the table....
Highest so far I've seen is 48C....

The only I can think of is the hdd is doing something intensive...
Does your hdd led keep blinking?

If rapidly, then means something is happening like virus scanning...

Windows got one service, that's indexing for faster searching, which usually stress the hdd for a while...

Faulty hdd should lead to system hang or something like that, high temp usually lead by the airflow...

No hot air coming out from the ventilation?

You mean using the cable LAN? Should be auto connect when plugged in....
run the troubleshoot already?
