Hello sifus...! Just wanna ask if i'm getting a reversing ring for D90 kit lense it should be the one which is 67mm right? I've tried taking insects using the 18-105mm lense.. crop it out and it doesn't look as satisfying as those taken with macro lense.. so decided to tried out the cheapest way to get awesome macro shots.. kekeke

QUOTE(noobie1 @ May 23 2010, 11:33 PM) ^ y use reversing ring?? ain't there raynox 250?? But raynox is about RM300+- Reversing ring should some how be cheaper compare to raynox??? Limited budget arrr.. but raynox seems tempting as well.. Maybe i should wait longer for that? This post has been edited by kabyss87: May 23 2010, 11:44 PM

QUOTE(noobie1 @ May 24 2010, 12:19 AM) ohya..forgot to tell u that..that kind of reversing ring only for prime lens(correct me if i am wrong)..not sure if they produce any reversing ring for zoom lens..and well, now ur only choice is either buy a 50mm 1.8 or go for raynox... Damn.. no wonder all the search result ended up with plenty of those using the reversal ring with a fixed focal lense lar.. u maybe right about it.. hahaha.. i was planning to get a 50mm 1.8 but it will take some time lar.. thought can find a cheap way to get into macro one.. mana tahu..

QUOTE(booby @ May 24 2010, 08:20 PM) how much is the 50mm? For the flash gun u planning to get the SB900 or sb600? I think i need to save few more months before i can get that SB900. Not sure about the price... most probably RM300+- for the 1.8D... tested one today.. the bokeh was awesomely delicious.. Planning to get a Nissin Di622.. gonna start of slowly

QUOTE(celciuz @ May 27 2010, 05:34 PM) Nikon CMOS sensors are all designed to run at 200ISO. You can go to Lo1.0 which is equivalent to 100ISO but don't expect for good quality. I thought the general rule of thumb is the lower the iso the better the image quality? Care to explain a bit on the lo 1.0 iso on d90 and the effect on image quality?

QUOTE(celciuz @ May 28 2010, 08:17 AM) Lo1.0 and Hi1.0 aren't real ISO actually, they are more like sort of 'software rendering'. D90's sensor is designed to be used at 200 to 3200 with Lo1.0 as 100 equivalent and Hi1.0 as 6400 equivalent. Thanks for the clarification
