I think my 50mm F/1.8D lens is having a problem |:

user posted image

Looks like 3 (or more) of my aperture blades are not opening fully at F/1.8. Hence the uneven shaped bokeh. :|

Doubt it's so.

Uneven shape bokeh because it's 7 blade.

Pretty sure there's something wrong with it because the bokeh has always been fully circular before.
Besides, when the lens is off camera around 5 blades or so can be clearly seen while the other 2 blades can't be seen at F/1.8.

what's the shutter speed?

in terms of sharpiness i really don't see what's wrong with that picture though. maybe my standard's just low.

You can always Unsharp Mask or do a High-Pass Sharpening in Photoshop to make the picture sharper smile.gif

How many average shots does a Sanyo Eneloop last in a SB - 600? I badly need new batteries laugh.gif

Was about 400-500 for me when I used my kit lens, but right now much more since I changed to a faster lens, thus lesser power required from my SB900.

Okay, seems good enough for me. Thanks! smile.gif
