lolx...bro, both aso got chinese word...so mean both are low quality battery??
btw, those both battery are made in japan...not china...tongue.gif
yup..i know is best to use low iso..but then last i heard, celciuz said D90 iso are best at 200...
*
Lo1.0 etc aren't real 100ISO. Software interpolated. So 200 is still the best native. Unless you really need that sort of sensitivity then I don't know lor!

Hmm, any idea how I can improve it? biggrin.gif. Shooting portrait with UWA is tough =(. My first try out with the 16-35, portraits with telez is just.. easy... only need to take care small portion..

I think the problem is the distraction from the random plant in the middle of the rocks on the beach. Those plants at the left side of the picture are quite distracting too.

Perhaps you can move nearer to the girl and occupy her in your picture more? Just my 2 cents smile.gif

2nd picture without those plants are much nicer biggrin.gif

Added on July 6, 2010, 8:28 amFor the 1st picture, if you can lower your camera height i think will help too tongue.gif
*
Noted. When I was shooting I saw that plant out of no where in the middle. Thought I could photochop it away dry.gif. But failed miserably. Didn't notice the ones on the side. Argh~ when angle is wide lots of things need to take note. Need to be more careful on my composition.

One reason I didn't want to go too close is, if I frame her at the edge of the picture distortion comes in already sad.gif. These pics I've not tried adjusting the distortion yet haha.

I like second picture too biggrin.gif. The random tree is directly at the back, lucky shot cause she was walking across haha. Timing was right fortunately. rclxm9.gif

Portrait with tele somehow makes u lazy for (better) composure..
U don't have to use 16mm all the way bah..change to 35mm lor..
Heck, I use 8mm FE for portrait mah! (Not all menjadi tapi boleh2 la)
*
Depends on what result I'm looking for I guess biggrin.gif. Good about UWA is you can do really nice angles... lemme see this weekend can dig some or not tongue.gif.

I think you can actually buy those Hoya HD CPL at that price... Somehow I would go for Hoya instead though.

Btw, this weekend I'll be going for this event tongue.gif

No choice, get your subject right. or leave the subject yellowish since that is the event's condition afterall!

QUOTE(C_Sagi @ Jul 6 2010, 01:02 PM)
I never seen anyone posted one in LYN before so I wonder if anyone could provide some feedback to me. But the Hoya HD CPL is not slim filter right ?

Damn, if i didnt went to a durian buffet 2 weeks ago i would join u. Now see durian also scared. sweat.gif

LOL, I just noticed this. I'll be attending this event.

I think it is slim... not sure but my friend's 82mm CPL did not had vignetting issue with his 17-35 f/2.8L.

18mm not wide enough? Might need to consider something like Tokina 11-16 then.

18-105 IQ not good enough for you now eh?

11-16 f/2.8 might interest you. Else if you want primes, wide one would be 24 f/1.4 which is...pricey. RM6500.

No experience with Nikon filters, but I would go for Hoya/B+W anytime over Nikon. (for filters that is).

It is f/2.8 and UWA range, you can easily shoot at slow shutter!

Let's say magnification of 1:1 for a 60mm and 105mm. Basically the 60mm has to go closer compared to the 105mm for the same 1:1 magnification ratio.
