QUOTE(superb88 @ May 18 2010, 10:27 PM) I think its better to post here than cr8 a new thread as I'm a D90 user too. Jz got my D90 less than 3 weeks. Been shooting around quite often & 2 name a few, went to DCIM, 1U fashion week. Now I'm so into buying an external flash gun (SB-600), cuz I feel I rly need it but I'm jz worrying I'm moving 2 fast. I tried my fren's SB-800 recently and it seem to be so helpful in all this event photography and not too mention indoor low lighting shots. Only thing, since i've jz started DSLR, am I going 2 fast as I suddenly rely so much on an external flashgun that I borrowed from my fren and now felt the extreme need 2 purchase a SB-600 & skip the part on learning 2 make full use of the in built flash? Its pain to spend so much and I don't wanna look too impulsive as this is my new found enthusiasm recently. Any opinion from u guys? Buy it or not? I think I never use the built in flash before more than 3 times since I started to venturing into DSLR last year. Even when I use it I will use a white card to bounce the flash. Just get the external flash it is really really useful for taking pictures indoor. Once i am into it I never get rid of it while taking pictures indoor

QUOTE(superb88 @ May 18 2010, 11:17 PM) Thx for yr feedback, guys! After hearing yr comments, I feel more set to buy the SB-600. I wasn't that into it b4 this, until I got hold of a SB-800 and start firing away. The indoor pictures esp events turned out to be a significant improvement. So, 3 weeks of using a new D90 and now SB-600 is not consider crazy pace after all la.. Just go for it man.. I think external flash is a must and not an option. haha This post has been edited by selinix: May 18 2010, 11:24 PM

QUOTE(BaRT @ May 25 2010, 08:57 PM) Good day! I got a question... why when Im using pop up flash with kit lens (18-105mm), the maximum shutter speed in only 1/60 and when Im using with 50mm lens..the max shutter speed is only 1/200 even Im using manual setting, set max shutter speed, when pop up the flash..it will limit the shutter to the said speed... anyone have idea... I believe that's the maximum shutter speed to be use with flash because any higher shutter speed will not allow sufficient flash light to enter your camera..

QUOTE(BaRT @ May 25 2010, 09:13 PM) ic...ic.. does it mean, even we using flash gun, it will limit to that shutter speed? There is Auto FP High-Speed Sync funciton in flash guns which allows you to use higher shutter speed. If it is off you can only go maximum up to 1/200.

QUOTE(celciuz @ Jun 5 2010, 07:50 PM) Actually can just straighten by using PP , but best to get it right when you're shooting . use adobe photoshop cs5.. straightening is so much easier now

Love D90. anyone using BG for D90? will it be very heavy? Anyway, Im interested to shoot wif nice model too! I am using one. Feels okay to me. Some people would say it is too heavy for them though

QUOTE(machinetosh @ Jun 10 2010, 04:34 PM) Added on June 10, 2010, 4:34 pmhow come better? because they say it will degrade image quality and the lens is quite cheap so no point using some cheap filters on it.
