My friend who work for Hyundai told me that they are targeting to launch this car by Q2. They are trying to bring down the price as well!I will most likely get this car! I will do test drive on the current Avante soon:)
really?..good news for us then..seriously it is a lot better looking both inside and outside from its competitors..
avante auto parking system very cool..looks like there is a sensor to detect another car at the right side of the car.. but i doubt this will be for malaysia..

i was at 1U hyundai road show too, yup they said is around last quarter of the year. but surprised me was it cost just around the same price as previous model as the SC told me
previous model was about rm98k if not mistaken..but the last model only had 1 version..with the 2.0 engine..
i took the picture in Hyundai HQ in Glenmarie. At that time i dun see any Avante/Elantra in the parking lot, maybe in the training garage at that time. lol. So i took pics of the Veloster, i40 and the new Accent.
Added on October 15, 2011, 12:20 am i heard it's gonna be delayed until they setup a CKD assembly for the Avante which will only start in Dec.
The odd of SD letting go of Hyundai is rather slim, they co-owns Inokom anyway. Even if SD were to sell it to someone else, everything will still be well established by then as ever sice Sime Darby took over the dealership right from Berjaya and Kah Bintang things has improved tremendously.
Following memo, I am not even allowed to give a price guess. As far as I know, pricing has been submitted but has not yet been approved by the government.
I won't be in showroom this coming Thursday by the way
lol...price also need the government to approve?..to cover the proton?
