Asked about avante. Not sure if accurate but SA mentioned it will be launched Jan or Feb next year. It will be SKD form. Pricing would be similiar to Forte... |

QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Dec 12 2011, 08:17 PM) Ok, uhh, so guys, I got some news. If Elantra is February, what bout Veloster? I thought The CEO mentioned by Q1?Car is launching in Febuary. There will be 5 colour choice to choose from and there's rumour that 2 more colours will be added later on. @WheelieWonka you can visit my pre-booking thread for details, unfortunately that's all I can tell you for now. For those who asked their local SAs about the car. They won't know much because SAs' training isn't started yet. Those who wish to do booking via bank-in, we are doing that now but kindly PM me for discussion. Not another delay I hope. |

QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Dec 14 2011, 08:33 PM) The misconception is that after you get your car, Sime Darby handles everything. Well said bro Fluidic. For after sales, you should be calling your SAs for info, for service, call the service centres. Our business cards are not just for you to call back when you decide to buy the car. Depends which dealer you went to. SA that throws you out after getting their commission will of course end up giving you bad after sales service. 9/10 SAs I knew only cared about taking your money, nothing else, unlucky if you've met one. I layan my customer from start to end, even following them to service centres to make sure their car is properly serviced, commission spent on going around with them is well worth it. Then there's this group of customer who treat SAs like their slaves, demanding things beyond limit, want this and that, double dipping here and there, uncooperative, arrogant. This kind I won't layan more than what's obliged by the SAs guideline. So you experienced bad after sales service, you probably met a 'money only' SA or no offense, you belonged in the group of customer that I lazy do follow up with. Good or bad service really depends on which dealer/SA you met. A lot say T & H provide very good service, but I once stood right in the middle of a T showroom and service centre for a full 30 minutes without anybody serving. Staff even avoided eye contact when they walk by. Those who still thinks Hyundai has bad service probably haven't met me and my manager. This is what I expect as well when shopping for cars. SA service are extremely imPortant for me at least. I bought my existing civic from a dealer quite far from my place. However because of that particular SA I get it from there. Bro Fluidic, keep me informed once you have info on Veloster. If it is right for me, definitely will get it from yourself. |

QUOTE(tunasandwich @ Dec 15 2011, 01:34 PM) inokom badge... feb 2012... still no price.... hmm i wonder if it is a hint...http://paultan.org/2011/12/15/hyundai-elan...ally-assembled/ all photos on Paul Tan doesnt spot a sun roof! Since Elantra will be launched by February, dont think Veloster will be here by Q1 as mentioned, unless its a double launch or Veloster to be launched 1 month apart - which i doubt.. |

QUOTE(ivn79 @ Dec 15 2011, 02:26 PM) This is one of the problem too if they doesn't care about their service. Heard a lot of complaint regarding their service. Sharp eyes..In the paultan posted photo, I spotted 2 pics are Inokom badge, the one nicer shots. Heard Naza Kia K5 will be selling RM102k for 2.0 spec. Wondering Sime-Darby will sell their for 1.6 & 1.8... If 1.8 over RM100k, it over. What u all think?? The one with Inokom badge likely to be from the official brochure from SD. So meaning strip down version? no sunroof? |

QUOTE(FluidicSculpture @ Dec 15 2011, 02:42 PM) Tentative spec, Sunroof is available on the 1.8 Premium. Realistically, how practical is sunroof in Malaysia? practical or not i believe it is subjective.but its always sad to see, we are always getting the strip down version. personally, i feel sunroof some how, improve its looks department. a factor of coolness and premium feel to the car.. anyway, maybe just me.. Bro FLUIDIC, Any news on Veloster yet? |
