Cant wait to see how much they're selling it
Existing 2.0 cost almost RM100K
1.6/1.8 most likely cost around RM80-95K
Hopefully!

RM94K OTR?
I just get the price through their website. Maybe price wasnt updated. But anyway the price for new Avante should be lesser than RM95K for 1.8L |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Dec 4 2010, 09:52 PM) After viewing the car 1st hand at KLIMS today i must say that i am really impressed. The interior and exterior is really cool and futuristic plus ample boot space. Really impressive. The rear legroom is comparable to the Hyundai Sonata and Nissan Teana despite both those cars being in a different category. If Hyundai can maintain the specs and keep the pricing competitive then this car will surely do well like the Forte or maybe even better. Do they release the pricing for avante? |

QUOTE(yeowa @ Feb 22 2011, 01:46 PM) Launching is September 2011 right now. Will try to pull earlier to July. No indication on the prices but the engine variant will be 1.6 & 1.8. Which specs is better? Avante 2011 or i30?1.6 engine will be the same as Forte 1.6. Don't ask me where is the sauce from. Read back previous post. So, it is really depending on one who prefer avante or forte look. I might opt for Forte cause now got no car, not convenient. i30 is selling at RM97,888 for 1.6 If the specs is much better, i doubt the price would be cheap.. At least RM100K for 1.6 unless they took out some features. |

An agent just told my friend that Avante 2011 is coming in at September 2011.
Pre-booking can be done by July.. Price will be 77K for 1.6, 87K for 1.8 and 103K for 2.0 Price is w/o insurance.. Not so sure how true is it.. If its true then its gonna be damn competitive for other brands.. |

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Mar 17 2011, 01:03 PM) If the prices above was OTR then it would be competitive. But since its not, then it might be too expensive. The Avante's nearest competitor would be the Forte and the 2.0L version is going for around RM98K only which will be about RM10K cheaper than the Avante. Yea, 2.0 seems a kinda costly. But 1.6 and 1.8 will be selling good with such pricing. OTR for 1.6 should be around 80K which is worth to buy.. But i'm not so sure bout the specs, maybe will be quite basic specs.. hopefully not |
