if comes with 1.6 and 1.8 should b GDI since u said is 1.6 and 1.8(MPI)

Avante 2011 will be available here in Sept 2011, rather than June-July 2011 which is what a lot of people have been told or are assuming.

Love the car, but unfortunately, I can't wait that long.

if without GDI then it would be only CVVT instead of dual. as MPI version do not have dual for Forte/Avante

GDI spray the fuel directly with pressure of 150bar into the combustion chamber whereas current MPI mix the air and fuel before they being transfer down to the combustion chamber.

What i have been told was 1.6 with- 127HP (80K++) and 1.8 - 147 HP (100++  but <110K) , the SA only saw the 1.6 car .
The SA indicated that the price will be closed to Forte price but it is not finalized .
The spec will not be same as SG , i guess SD cut it down .

One more things , he said that the targeted launching day is in Aug , but will not later than Sept .

Extras that go with your car, and more, car no official pricing yet so we can't say out what are the extras, rest assured the 100 pre-launcher order will get more than those who book post-launch.

For those who are curious about the key accessories/specs difference between 4 variant :

1.6 LOW SPEC - 83k to 85k
1.6 HIGH SPEC - 87k to 90k
1.8 PREM - 101k to 104k
