Launching is September 2011 right now. Will try to pull earlier to July. No indication on the prices but the engine variant will be 1.6 & 1.8.

1.6 engine will be the same as Forte 1.6. Don't ask me where is the sauce from. Read back previous post.

So, it is really depending on one who prefer avante or forte look. I might opt for Forte cause now got no car, not convenient.

of course avante 2011. i30 is currently a 4speed transmission. The design quite nice though and currently with 5k discount.

I believe there is a hope for RM90k for 1.6. And 100k for 1.8? Don't know la... My rough guess....

Engine for the 1.6 Avante will be the same as Forte 1.6. That's the nearest I can say. It is just in term of looks, Avante looks better...

Bro sonyman. Things will change. Even though with no additional goodies, avante is still a great car. Proven by current avante. U try google avante problem in malaysia. Surprisingly no complaint... I opt for forte instantly after my friend who work in Sime encourage me to get Kia forte. And I know the 1.6 variant going to be the same in terms of engine and gearbox. If I were to wait for avante, no guarantee sep will get car and if delay to oct or nov, the car will have 2mths to go to be consider a year car. Now my thinking is, why not enjoy Forte first since the driving experience is different from last time. And with many forte on the road, the second hand value shouldn't be that bad(better than other korean car a bit)... My assumption only la...

My source is from a friend who work in SD Hyundai. That's why I don't mind Forte since the two car are using the same engine for the same power.

I wish I could wait also, but now I am enjoying my Forte ride now...
