QUOTE(Acrisius @ Jul 16 2010, 05:47 PM) Anyway, PV12 is still a new condo, whereby it would not be so fast to have TMHomeline and internet or Unifi. TM have a policy that, at least 20-30% occupied in a condo only starting to set up their system on the building. Normally it takes about 6-8Months to have TMhomeline and internet after the condo allowed to stay. Similar to PV10, I was so frustrated to wait a year for the TM, setting up their system and only able to subscribe Streamyx. As I know PV10 only have Unifi system on Block A. But B,C,D still not covered. Those guys were putting up a booth does not know much things about the progress, because they were just a reseller. Btw, the form you submitted right? It's just for the demand list. (It will only goes to register when there's covered) or else, wait and wait *Calling up to Unifi Center, is the actual information you will get. If you called, and those assistant told you that it's unavailable. So it's not covered yet on PV12 PV12 really do have Unifi, you will able to get appointment immediately and get register through phone Why unable to do that? So simple, means not covered and unavailable. I am just hoping that it will come to me as fast as possible |

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Jul 16 2010, 08:42 PM) Nvm la... If not available yet, it will also be available very soon. Btw... I believe that PV12 is alrdy more than 60% occupied. The population is getting bigger and bigger... Besides that, I checked and found that PV12 management's phone number is under the range of phone number in wangsa maju release. Hope it will soon available... Just submitted the form 1 hour before this. He told me 2~3 weeks... Dunno how true is it... Btw, I saw them pull the cable and doing things at those longkang covers at jalan langkawi. And also i saw them dig the ground, at the entrance place... 9's restaurant that part... And i guess they connected it to PV12's vdsl system. Also dunno how true isit. |

QUOTE(lamode @ Jul 17 2010, 04:05 PM) Hi rizvanrp and other sifu, http://unifi.athena.my/index.php?option=co...id=49&Itemid=61Last heard was the can use own router such as WRT54GL to serve as an access point, cuz still need to connect to the one that TM provided. if flash the one TM provided with 3rd party firmware, then lose the IPTV fuction. without reading all the 97 pages, just one quick question. Can we directly connect WRT54GL (3rd party firmware) to the BTU without using the router that provided by TM and keep the IPTV? the above link is a very complete tutorial and explanation written by rizvanrp himself |

QUOTE(+Newbie+ @ Jul 20 2010, 05:31 PM) haihhhh ... super pissed man .... I just spent 10 mins trying to call unifi to check on the status of my conversion from try and buy to vip5. They put me on hold for at least ~10 mins and then I hear a ring tone and straight away drop call. I leave you to figure out what just happened. All I can say is, it is disgusting to be treated this way. |

I used to download lots of movies when I was using streamyx back in my hometown. 1tb was hardly enough. Now when I get Unifi, I'm going to download all HD |

Haha basically any computer of any specs with a network card would do the job properly. A cheap core2duo can do lots of stuff already

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Jul 25 2010, 03:19 PM) UniFi has such upload speed? That's ADSL2+ speed already if I'm not mistaken and to think that TM give so much upload speed despite poor download... WTFish??!! Unifi provides symmetrical download & upload speed. diff from ADSL2+. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiber_to_the_x Added on July 25, 2010, 3:22 pmand the fact that that speedtest shows such low download speed is the reason why he is complaining that theres smth wrong with his connection .
