QUOTE(mypetridish @ Jan 12 2012, 04:05 PM) I got it for rm190 at sony services centre last year.Im not sure if it is genuine or not. But it work great till now. If u always use adapter for long period make sure u set your batery for 50% charging. Refer vaio batery care. it can extend your batery lifetime. |

I have just checked the repair status on the website, it is still = under checking last year sent my vaio to sony service centre @midvalley. they replaced my harddisk and it took 1 week. they will call you to pick up then. |

QUOTE(hiroki8704 @ Sep 20 2012, 11:49 PM) to all fellow vaio lovers a noob question..do u guys plug in the charger cable and let it stay charge at home while ur using it? Set your battery to charge 50% only At vaio power management. So the battery wont overcharge and not need to take out the batt as well. |

QUOTE(hiroki8704 @ Sep 21 2012, 10:27 AM) enabled..does that mean i am able to leave the charger plug in charging while i am using? once you set to 50% u can keep charger plug in all the time.not overcharging means not degrading the battery shelf life? or shall i stick to my usual charging patterns that i charge only when the battery is low? after the battery is full, unplug the charger from the computer ? it used to maintain your battery health/lifetime. unless you like to repeatedly take out the battery and then put it back again n again...if really care about your battery health then.. actually the battery will degrading.. enabling the battery care function only can help reduce the degradation.. |

QUOTE(lordofvirtue @ Dec 11 2012, 05:19 PM) That's a pretty weird case. Maybe for 08/09 vaio series.Laptop running vista always cause trouble when trying to change to other windows .either upgrade or downgrade. Windows 8 work great on my vaio f series (2010). |

QUOTE(Miyabi @ Dec 27 2012, 01:06 AM) So today, I have play around the Duo. Nicely built quality. Smooth too. Ya... Hope to see more apps coming inIf you want slate hybrid, this certainly a good choice. Just that i wonder if we will see more apps on Windows 8 store so that it will be fully utilize. Right now, browsing using touch (slate mode) is good. Edit: Typo Feel bored after a few month using windows 8. But one app that i cant live without in windows 8 is xbox music.. Free music. Able to browse artist/band sort by their album (released year) and save into playlist. It Feel like i have all collection of my favourite artist in one apps. dont need to buy cd anymore I love freebies |

QUOTE(Macam Yes @ Apr 18 2014, 10:47 AM) got called from sony. this multiflip netbook got overheat issue. all VAIO FIT 11" owner need to go to SONY services center at KLCC or the curve for refund or change new laptop (different model). i guess they will discontinue this VAIO FIT 11" production until they fix the problem. so i choose to get a new VAIO FIT 14" SVF14327SGB. instead of refund. Official anouncement by sony: Sony Official Anouncement new form lowyat.net : Stop using VAIO FIT 11A This post has been edited by mrashdi: Apr 18 2014, 09:13 PM |
