Vaio S series is worth it. Just don't compare with Acer/Dell/HP/Asus/Lenovo lah based on price.. Except of course Alienware..

The keyboard is nice, the construction is very nice. Backlight keyboards so useful in the dark. If you peel off all those stupid stickers (showing AMD, Intel, Win7) then your lappy becomes super classy.

I own the SB16, can play Crysis2, Fallout3. So performance wise no prob lah. But fan noise is loud under stress. Does it bother you? It not bother me cos I use headphones for games. And your right palm will get warm cos HDD and processors and RAM are below it. if you play FPS then lagi no prob cos your left hand only touching the keyboard as your right is for fragging and headshots!

But the lappie cools very effectively to the back under the LCD.

When you buy,please ask for more free gift or discount. Mostly the plaza low yat sony centre at ground floor can give more freegift compare to 1st floor sony centre. If you need further discount but don't want free gift then let me know. As I know maximum discount those ppl can give without free gift is 2% off only. I believe I can get more. but you cannot

Going to purchase a SB soon. Jz hesitate between SB16 and SB26. It seems differ onli in the hd capacity, whihc i thk doesnt worth rm300 price difference. Is there any other difference btw SB16 and SB26?

Yeah, too bad. Well, nowadays the Sony didn't really give a customer a vaio bag anymore. So always think this " SOny no longer giving laptop bag , if they mentioned is free, they using their own money to pay the bag so the customer won't run away "

Sony Centre I can see,they paying for the Sony VAIO bag because Sony Malaysia no longer give them the vaio bag,the reseller want then have to buy it. If got VAIO logo on the bag then don't worry.
To me I won't extend it.

I guess it's tru what people say abt Sony, the customer service is kind a bad. I'm having truble to register my warranty at Sony website, no idea why it keeps showing "pls make sure yr product info is correct" for thousand times+the product key for MS Offfice provided at the back of lappy is shown to be invalid. Called The Curve, no action was taken. Called that pathetic customer service line, it keeps on saying "pls call during working hrs". what the hell...luckily the perf+design is nice, if not i would've sold it thru mudah.com...

any help guys?
