I got few question to ask.

Question 1: When i buy my vaio laptop, its come with a window xp proffesional installer. My question is --> if i get another laptop(any brand), can i use that installer to install on the laptop?? or only can install in sony laptop??

Question 2: For creating recovery cd for my laptop, i just click recovery center, then put in an empty DVD then click start. is it that's all??

Question 3: For the extended warranty certificate, i bought near the end of february, and the person told me that sony will send to me within 3 months. Until now i still haven't get yet, should i call them and ask?? is it ok without the extended warranty cert

1. cant use the same product key means?? i 1st time install also cant? but still can use the window xp and just that cant hv any update on window xp, is it??

3. this 1 is the sony center ppl told me that sony will send to me. bcoz is extended warranty. i also not so sure. haiz. As long as i got the receipt for that extended warranty, if anything happen on my laptop, i can just take to the service center rite?

i wanna know that does any sony center or sony style sell the silicon protector for S series??

I would like to ask whether is there any keyboard protector that can use for VPCS117GG model? i saw KLCC sony styles selling the keyboard protector but i heard they said dun hv any for this S series. Is that real?

i am having a problem with my Vaio S series Model VPCS117GG. The problem is sometimes when i plug in the adapter, cant switch on after i turn on the power button. It need me to put in battery then only can switch on.

and sometimes when i put battery on my laptop, then i cant switch on and i need to put the adapter so that only can switch on.

anyone can help me with this?

im not sure, after i take back from repair from sony service center, then this problem occur aredi. (before this, the button E cant function and they said will change a mother board for me. After i get back my laptop, then this problem sometimes will happen.)

i would like to know whether Sony stop producing Z series d??

haha. i also like the previous gen Z. still can find it? hahaha.......
