any problems with the laptop besides the fan noise?

yeah..the blue looks like purple..somehow..it does remind me of my GT5 titanium blue ps3..

guys..i am experiencing very annoying sound from my vaio s sb26..
i am just installing an antivirus software..
my vaio is damn hot at the back of the hinges..
and the noise that produce is equivalent to an old table fan..whinning..from mild to berserk mode..
is this normal to all new SB26?

hi guys..need help here..
i am experiencing SERIOUS problem with my SB26..

my SB26 had problem..it HANGS more than 5 times..just now..and i am force to shut it down using the power button which is harsh..i don know what happen to it..i am so frustrated..with it..

FIR i am not a gamer nor a heavy user of internet...my SB26 is empty without any games, songs, movies etc...

i currently own 3 laptops including acer, compaq and this sony vaio s...but this one feels the worst ever..it gave me the worst experience from my laptop history...

anybody experiencing this problem with their vaio?

not that i jump to conclusion..but my vaio s really disappoint me very much today...is SONY really quality enough???

Added on October 8, 2011, 10:13 ami just used system recovry to recover back my SB26..results is laggy performance even with 8GB ram..what happen?
and it is still noisy..what can i do to reduce the noise..?
what is turbo boost and how do i turn it off?
besides..anything i can do to BIOS system to make it better?
i real noobie..here..

pros: design is cool..and edgy..looks stunning with its glossy premium carbon black top ..i am lucky to get one..limited edition..

size: the slimness is very attractive..everyone is captivated by its slimness

weight: effortless weight..just only 650gm..

cons: cannot upgrade d hardware...atom..quite laggy ...even for FB..a bit disappointing..though...

future plan: plannning to install linux ubuntu...anybody got experience using vaio x with ubuntu?

to all fellow vaio lovers a noob question..do u guys plug in the charger cable and let it stay charge at home while ur using it?

will it deteriorate my battery shelf life?
because i noticed my battery condition is no longer in excellent condition ..now in good condition only...just after 1 year

enabled..does that mean i am able to leave the charger plug in charging while i am using?
not overcharging means not degrading the battery shelf life?
or shall i stick to my usual charging patterns that i charge only when the battery is low? after the battery is full, unplug the charger from the computer ?
