just finish restoring my apps.. and i realise when i press New IM, all my msn contact not in list. i only manage to chat with my friend by Contacts > MSN

i did a backup in n900 itself (using built-in backup tool), it helps to backup everything u installed and available in app manager (all the repository link). after reflash i restore it, everything just like before, only need to reinstall sygic. from backup + flash + restore it took me 1hour.

frankly speaking i dont find 1.1 and 1.2 much different. the only obvious difference is, no more MORE menu. lol

i dont think it is available that way right now. the only way you can flash now is by manual.

maybe your bin file is corrupted.

first boot usually take few minutes. and the sim card problem i had it too. after flashing emmc then never happen again.

today is the official release date for global pr1.2

i flash like this:

1. run command prompt, cd to flasher directory
2. turn off n900, unplug from pc
3. plug in n900, pc detect flash memory, ignore and close
4. run the command to flash, it will say "waiting..."
5. turn on n900
6. flasher start running and complete
7. unplug n900 and switch on

i did not press u at all.

meli, your step 3 is misleading. you must make sure WITHOUT -R parameter.
although your command is correct
