I think the condition getting worst...today 8th day...but maybe more areas going to be affected too....sight, still no news from Syabas to confirm the tentative resolution period for the water supply issue

how is the traffic condition frm sg long to kl today?

SL4 still ok ... but i think i need to do some precaution already ... need to takung air ... last week we do face some water shortage for few hours but not as bad as other areas.
   

i called my mom just now to help me takung air leow ... how to survive without water? 

A lot of places have disruption, yesterday went to Ikea and SS2, no water supply as well

Really suck. It is 10 days without water already and still no light at the end of the tunnel. Don't know what they are doing.

ok, i prefer stuck in jam but live in better surrounding and environment without passing thru the taman rakan side there with very unpleasent view...and taman rakan traffic wont be better a lot too....

since you are in the midst of surveying, hope you will finally get a house that you dream of. But, just wondering, you mean 30mins - 1 hour from PW to where? Coz if you calc the distance or time from PW to Taman Rakan, i think less than 10 mins kut? The rest of the journey no matter where u stay, it's still the same jam jam. I would said PW is still better because at least you got more alternatives, such as u can access to BMC from GoodView there, or, u can by pass the jam to SILK, make a u-turn at twin palm, or, u can even use the so called proposed new access road from Sg long to SILK (just donno when they going to open this la)... lol

I am not a guru here la ... but i am just sharing with you from my point of view as a Sg Long residence. haha ... I do visit the newly developed houses in Taman Rakan there, once i think of passing through that road, I already turned off. 

I just called an agent from Iproperty, he told me that Cheras Idaman 2 was 99 yrs leased hold, for own staying I think shd be no problem. He told me that got 3 types of double storey houses there selling from 660k to 730k. Anyway, will go visit by this weekend.

I visited Palmwalk 3 last month, but there was a terrible traffic jam from Palmwalk 3 to Cheras-Kajang Highway during weekday, somemore Palmwalk 3 is selling at 750k. In terms of traffic issue & design, i more prefer Cheras Idaman 2 rather than PW3

just some ppl bias on this..when they don like something, they will keep focusing on the downside and make it bigger...

true also.. but sg long must be bit gated and guarded like capa residency and admiral park.... can see whole sg long so high above..

btw.. 700k consider new units chers idaman & palm walk3... or section 5... or good view residence.. others can get but old lu..

700k only can buy townhouse at sg long, but 700k++ can buy new semi D at seti eco hill by sp setia...

Not really good actually, pros & cons as follow:-

Pros: Nice design & modern look, gated & guarded, 700k+ still reasonable, nearby Cheras-Kajang Highway

Cons: leased hold, access road passby taman rakan-rakan (low cost residential), mosque nearby
