QUOTE(anakkk @ Oct 20 2014, 08:07 AM) Heard it was approve in 2011 from my condo management after we signed the petition, but have no idea why it got delayed, maybe kihuat doens't want the increase of traffic after it opens right beside its development area and those resident might complain By connecting to Silk Highway, Bkt Sg Long and Taming Indah residents is the direct beneficiaries, the distance to home is so much nearer, property value definately will increase...their house are all G&G separate with main road with high wall the noise should be minimum. By opening this access road also bring benefit to Silk Highway as it encourage more usage of their highway and "u-turn" facility...

QUOTE(LD Jr @ Oct 15 2014, 09:29 AM) If i recall correctly. this thread had discussed about the original connection plan to silk highway, which is nearby the factory area (after Honda Showroom)... Understand that you live in Bukit Sungai Long, would be grateful if you could ask Kihuat on behalf of Sg Long residents for the access road as Kihuat never reply my email as expected.

QUOTE(MyDevil @ Oct 20 2014, 04:12 PM) I am staying at Bukit Sg Long. Really hope for the access road. Is there a petition for this? Count me in for support. Would be grateful if you could check with Kihuat, developer for Bkt Sg Long actually why they do not continue with the access road to Silk Highway...due to reject by MPKJ or Silk Highway or the developer simply do not want to build it as suggested by some fellow forumner..

QUOTE(doomdoom @ Oct 20 2014, 05:02 PM) if money is the only problem to built this road..i think noi ssue to have some fund raising activity to get donation from the sg long residents...especially those staying at bukit sg long......many of them are cash rich bosses... this road definitely can reduce some traffic flow at the sungai long main road... I suspect this is Silk Highway that demand millions of compensation based on what happened in 2008 for Grand Saga Highway vs BMC access road. QUOTE(doomdoom @ Oct 20 2014, 05:23 PM) i remember it's the BMC residents move the road block and open the access road by themselves, right? at the end no any compensation pay to SILK highway, is it? I was there when Lim Lip Yong stop the GS's generator and residents removed the road block..however tear gas follow after a while, I taste the tear gas for the first time in my life, time flied there was 6 years ago. No compensation given to GS after few round of fights/negotiation between politician, police, GS and BMC residents. The access road permanent open in May 2008 after blocked few times by GS and some gangsters.

QUOTE(anakkk @ Oct 20 2014, 05:30 PM) That was the highway exit from BMC to Grand Saga, not Sg Long to SILK, from SG Long to SILK, there road were built halfway, left the last mile. In BMC case, the whole access road have been built but blocked by GS...many people was hit by police during the Buka Jalan campaign..but I don't think KH will built the last mile without consent by Silk and bosses in Bkt Sg Long will confront the authority just for the right to exit highway.

QUOTE(anakkk @ Oct 20 2014, 05:34 PM) no compensation paid to them, and they never care to adjust the green light to stay longer too, last time the jam wasn't that bad, I can still leave my house around 7, 7:15am, now the jam getting worst, I haven't used that exit for a long time after i moved to Sg Long from BMC For BMC that access road is their lifeline without it BMC won't be so ONG and the residents have to travel 7km extra + plus RM1 toll to reach home in 2008. While for Bkt Sg Long residents they still can travel via Sg Long main road.

QUOTE(kwwong1 @ Oct 20 2014, 06:08 PM) Bukit Sg Long is on left hand side of the road to Semenyih, it won't be cheap as a flyover is required Rich men in Bkt Sg Long may also object on access road as privacy should be a concern for them Interchange for sure out, access road is a more practical option as it needs much more lower cost however we do not know which party stop the access road some say KH some say Silk or MPKJ. To go Kl Bsl bosses always can choose to pay toll what is RM1 for them This post has been edited by Palmwalker001: Oct 20 2014, 08:03 PM

QUOTE(LD Jr @ Oct 21 2014, 09:13 AM) confirmed? why demand compensation if open that link should be more car willing to access the U-Turn tunnel and pay RM1.... From Silk's point of view, you use my highway you need to pay....I think we need political influence from State Government.

QUOTE(LD Jr @ Oct 21 2014, 10:04 AM) So still no hope for this moment..... My source say let wait till the year end, hope he won't bluff me.. By the way, if the land next to Silk Highway belong to Kihuat, the access road still can be built to connect to Silk Highway like what Lion did in BMC. If the highway operator block the road, it will another hot news in newspaper, then the repeat of BMC access road will happen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandar_Mahkot...as_toll_disputeThis post has been edited by Palmwalker001: Oct 21 2014, 03:12 PM

Being cash rich at least eliminating the most material risks for all under construction project-ABANDON project. Therefore almost Zero Abandon Risk for cash rich developer.
I also find out that other Sg Long developers such as Tanming & Wira Cheras also does not pledge their land to bank for financing, all cash rich developer..

QUOTE(bearbearwong @ Oct 24 2014, 12:00 PM) Silk highway is causing a lot of trouble.. who are behind this company? So greedy one.. minister crony ? Company search it.. Corporate Profile SILK Holdings Bhd ("SILK") started as SILK Concessionaire Holdings Sdn Bhd on 14 October 1996. It is the concession holder for the 37-km Kajang Traffic Dispersal Ring Road, which started operations on 15 July 2004. This asset is at present, held through its wholly owned subsidiary Sistem Lingkaran Lebuhraya Kajang Sdn Bhd ("KAJANG-SILK"), which holds the concession until 2037. The company assumed its present name on 31 October 2008. It assumed its present structure after its successful regularisation scheme on 14 October 2009, involving the acquisition of AQL Aman Sdn Bhd ("AQL"), the holding company of the 70% owned Jasa Merin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd ("JM"), an offshore marine support services company. The Terengganu State Government holds the remaining 30% of JM via Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd ("TI"). JM was incorporated in December 1980 as Jackson Marine (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. It commenced operations in October 1982. In 1986, the company name was subsequently changed to its present name. JM's principal activity is the provision of offshore support vessels ("OSV") services on medium to long-term charters to several oil and gas companies. It currently operates a fleet size of 18 owned and multiple third-party vessels. http://www.silk.my/This post has been edited by Palmwalker001: Oct 24 2014, 03:06 PM

QUOTE(anakkk @ Oct 24 2014, 02:39 PM) yup, I think that is what you mentioned, location wise I think is better than Good View Height, not sure what is the project name and what is the price range, the show house will be ready soon, this is just beside the Silk Highway, not sure where will be the entrance, hope it won't go through Taman Rakan I think they can exit Silk Highway to KL, however either u-turn at Twin Palm by paying RM1/- when come back from KL or go through Tmn Rakan to escape toll.

QUOTE(anakkk @ Oct 24 2014, 09:33 AM) cash rich = careful builders? cash rich of course not equal to careful builders however a cash rich company has the resources to complete the project therefore the possibility of abandoned project will be very low..
