Well, for the extra of Rm130k, it is fully furnished! If you pay Rm800k for a bare unit, you still need to furnish it. Rm130k is worth it if you like the furnishings. Move in condition. Save a few months and headaches in renovating. Besdies TP is a true g&g with club facilities which you dont get with your rm800k house.

So, if it is for home stay, there is no contest.

All the houses are sold, why need to build the guard house to attract sales?

Just drove by Desa after visiting my relative in Taming Mutiara....really nice enclave...one of the most modern designs in Sg. Long....congrats!

Added on June 2, 2012, 10:45 amI have never actually drive around Bandar Sg. Long despite staying there for a year. After Desa, you will pass through Mutiara Bungalows, then Palm Walk, back to Admiral, Wira Heights, finally pass the golf course, to Utar then out again.

Lots of new houses, but no new EXITS! The current 2 major exits, one via Sg. Long to Saga highway towards Kajang/Balakong, will be jammed when new houses inside Taman Rakan are occupied.

The other exit via Mahkota Cheras is already a nightmare. Once Mahkota Residence and other shophouses open along that road, plus new houses behind Jusco come online, how do you guys go to work?

Idaman Cheras 1 and 2, Suria Tropika, Tropicana Cheras, viridian, flats, schools, etc, all will use the current Jalan Rakan to get out...which merges with Sg. Long traffic going out to Saga Highway.

The owners have every right to renovate their houses - individual titles. Nobody want to look like their neighbour!

I do have such a neighbour, but there is nothing I could do. He renovated the house to a completely god awful design way out of the normal designs in the whole taman. There is nothing we can do as MPKJ allows major change to facade and renovation after 10 or 15 years...I cant remember...

We MOVED out. I still love my old house and keeping it.

Added on August 22, 2012, 8:53 amIf you drive to Taming Mutiara, you will notice that most of the houses renovate their designs to look different. Some looks good, some chinapek design really take the cake.

My sil SD's opposite neighbour renovated his house till it looks like a jail...literally.

Then bought pasar malam furniture to furnish it... Invite his friends for Mahjong sessions and karaoke on their off days till late at night. They even place their plastic tables and chairs right on the road when they have friends over. Just like village days.

She was pissed and then found out her rich neighbour is pasar malam boss!

But beside asking them to reduce their "volume", there is nothing the neighbours can do. This is what happen when you have rich neighbours who couldnt care less.

QUOTE(charlieyee @ Aug 28 2012, 12:11 AM)
you can did the same if you have budget and considering it  as "Dream House".
why you put it in negative?
*
It is not a negative. I live in a g&g with lots of restrictions but we have individual titles. So, everyone of us try to change our house a little to give it some individuality, though I won't like those that really tear down their houses and rebuilt or paint colors entirely different from developer's selection.

A good case in point, look at Taming Mutiara semid just before Desa Budiman...some houses look completely out of place...with every inch expanded.
