Nope, dont think i.ve seen this yet but sure is very nice. I noticed that u r pretty good with kid photo, makes me envious of u haha. Need to polish up my technique for that matter. Care to share some tips on editing this pic or is it straight out the camera? Whats the gear involved? rclxms.gif

She's the best model I have so far. And she's camera friendly not to mention photogenic. A good model plays a role in getting nice picture.

Well, the photo was taken by my sister. She composed it like that to get me out of the frame. I still need to edit my hair out from the picture.

Adjusted the colour/contrast with capture one auto adjust.

This is currently my wallpaper =)

Yea, she's a natural. Intentional or not by omitting u out, the composition is still interesting. Cant stand the mono centre centric composition.......

Just got my Oly FL 36R flashgun. Was amazed how small it was. I have the VF2 on my epl1 always so had to use RC instead.
Again was i amazed...i could syncro flash fp-ttl up to max 1/2000sec with aperture fully open ie 1.2.
Makes beautiful oof bokeh potrait this way plus retaining background exposure

Yeah...she did that intentionally. Its good because with me in the picture, it will ruin everything haha.

nutrinos,

we would love to see what you can do with a dedicated flash gun =)

I'm an old hog at this. Will need to polish up a bit and get a little bit better acquainted with my long lost hobby.. the analog age!
On another note, i got the flash more for my new found topic, macro. Rather the flightless bird, the macro world is always available n FOC too. Who knows, might end up with a few exotic insects. Plus, thinking of trying fast sync flash with insects in mid flight.. this is all new to me so will need to see what turns out...,who knows i might be lucky to freeze some dramatic effect

Need some suggestion on ND filters.
My EPL1 max shutter is 1/2000 and my portrait lens a Canon FD 50mm f1.2 L. Situation is in bright noon sunlight or at the beach and i want max bokeh/OOF for my shots at f 1.2.

Which ND filter would you think works best?

pana 20mm is 'the' lens to get. If you get the 17mm, I can guarantee you that you will still want the 20mm.

Totally agree.. get the 1st deal. 28mm till 300mm (35mm film) very exciting range, well covered all rounder. Get the 20 f1.7 later n probably the vf2 drool.gif
