want to ask, can i get fish eye effect on my GF1? need to use special lens or what?

Even I don't use M. Usually I only use it after taking a shot with P mode, get the Aparture and Shutter value and adjust it in A mode or S mode. Honestly, if you are still new to camera, P mode is still a great way to start, and adjusting the exposure level.
Anyway, I got a problem. Sometimes my E-P1 screen will go blank except the camera setting details when taking picturea. I usually have to press the lens release button and shake it around a bit to get the image back on. Anyone got this problem before I make a report to Olympus SC?

Something with my 17mm. Taken this quite some time back.. Been using my 20mm now =p

guy, i saw the gh2 is in preorder stage d. but want to ask the price at USA Amazon is body only 1000usd and the 14mm f2.5 or 20mm f1.7 both around 350usd.

I just bought an epl1 too last weekend. I feel the heat too especially when it is kept on for at least 3 minutes of usage(shooting, viewing, toggling through menu, etc..) .

What option filters can i have for my EP1 Camera lens , its a 17mm pancake lense by Zuiko. I read how good polarizing filter is but same time I need to protect the lense from dust. So should i get UV lense or polarizing filter will do the protection . anyone from lowyat sell these accessories online. thanks.

I will be buying an Olympus E-PL1. So far the best price I can get is :

EPL1 body+ 14-42mm kit len and the usual stuff comes with the box (battery, cable, cable, charger and etc)

Free: 1 extra original battery, 1 camera bag (ori)+ 1 x4G SD card (Class 4) for RM2099

Is this the best deal?

Also thinking of getting the while body camera. Is it advisable? Would it be difficult to clean when it gets dirty?

Taiwan a bit more.. about RM1.66K for body + pancake. A lot of my collegues now racunning me ... especially after seeing the GF2.

Yea I actually have the same thought when I saw the price.... so I poisoned my friend and end up bought 2 units, white for me and black for him muaahahha.

I predict the GF1 price in Malaysia will continue to slash as well until GF2 launch...

So far from the GF2 spec, doesn't impress me much too. I have not seen any sample shot which shows the High ISO handling yet.

anyone bought the body case for their GF1? wondering of black case will look nice on a white GF1 or not cause they dont sell the white body case here. Also where to buy and best price so far?

Any LX3 users that upgraded to GF1? Do you find it unnecessary to have both and end up selling LX3? So sayang to sell la but if keep never use also wasted
