btw, i wonder why sometimes I can lock the focus but actually the view is still blur? But sometimes not.

I experience it quite frequent recently on my kit lens and the 20mm as well

14-150mm quite convenient, no need change lens mah...so the price is double = 2 lenses tongue.gif

but I think my next upgrade is 45-200mm from panasonic. Less bulky cos not using zoom lens all the while.

Nice pic samurai! the picture are clean and neat. Any software u use to reduce noise?

Hopefully can get my 14-42 back asap and after all my events in July i will send the body for sensor cleaning. When they all can reunite ? sad.gif My panny20mm my 14-42mm my body.

Thanks guys!
I used Adobe Lightroom for noise reduction. But it wasn't that noisy to start with since I used tripod with ISO100

I also think if you already have 14-42, it's better to get 45-200 to cover the range! My next upgrade will be 7-14mm for wide angle photography, but maybe wait till next year because of the price  sweat.gif
Do share the pics!

Added on June 27, 2010, 6:08 pmJust saw this in yamiya.com.my

Panasonic LUMIX DMC-G2 Digital Compact Camera (Black) with Lumix G Vario 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 ASPH Mega O.I.S. + LUMIX G VARIO 45-200mm F4.0-5.6 MEGA O.I.S.  for RM3752 only

Quite a good deal as the body itself costs RM2500.

Yamiya.....better email them and check. They are kind inaccurate in product price.

Amazed by her performance at nite.

Although some noticeable noise and not a good take, but it well meet my street shooting need.. without worry the blurry image cos of handshake when in rush

wub.gif wub.gif still practicing..

Tmn Paramount.

I didn't process the picture with any software or shoot raw(sounds bit weird). All the time, taken with JPG LN or LF.

Yeah agree, M43 is much to casual but you don't want sacrifice the quality and you want something better than PNS or even Consumer.

To me, a M43 + Panny 20mm +Kit lens is enough for travel and daily record. For serious photography, I would invest into DSLR.

one of the reason i prefer the E-PL1. don't really know how to edit pics in photoshop sweat.gif

any tips to shoot under low light condition?
no wonder so familiar laugh.gif

read quite a lot of reviews comparing E-PL1 and GF-1's JPG image quality. E-PL1 gave a better IQ from the reviews.

p/s: hope your lense problem will be over soon smile.gif

Ready to collect hhohohoho....definitely will ask them can help me to clean the sensor/filter sad.gif

yeah but no leather case & 3 years warranty.

actually how much is the extra lense+adapter alone if buy outside?
*
the adapter :RM 5xx
the lens: RM11xx

Leather case: Doesn't matter, many after market and better choice
Warranty 3 years: Yes or not (depends luck)

For me I will go for twin lens. (I am still regret getting single lens)

Perhaps you can ask the shop in MV for the quotation of twin lenses and do they offer 3 years warranty as well.

Olympus E-PL1 14-42mm / 40-150mm / MMF2 kit FOC: 16GB SDHC = RM2760 -> Attractive!

Just have my kit lens back from Oly after 2 months usage (Sometimes luck quite important as well)
