EPL1 user here. The AF speed is not that bad in good light (at least proven by my friends who using canon, nikon DSLR)

But honestly it starts struggling in low light condition and no AF assist beam.

Anyone clarify it is better AF with 20mm panny in low light?

are you not able to find any lyn sellers here to get cheap on pancake 20mm f1.7 instead of wasting time to drop by at midvalley?? rclxub.gif
*
Haha going midvalley for my gym every weekend and drop by for trying luck. But I have found my source to get cheaper pancake now lust.gif
now just thinking which filter to go. Possibly ll get Panasonic filter as well.

Btw, anyone try manual focus on EPL1.

I just read the manual, with MF Assist on, while u rotate the the ring, it will auto magnify the image for precise focus.

I have switch mine to MF mode and try rotate (either clock wise, anti clock wise) it seems nothing change... rclxub.gif

anything wrong?

You need to change the display mode with a green box.

Activate the sensor cleaning a few times and see if it goes off...

If not, I feel that you should send it back to shop.

Last time, there's a big dust on my sensor. I use my hair strand, loop it around, then just try to scratch off the
dust. And it works. Not sure if you want to take such risk.

I feel that Rocket blow is quite dangerous. Last time I use rocket blow and it makes the condition even worse
if use wrongly.

anywhere or shop offer safe and fast cleaning sensor service?

I don't think I can leave in Oly for another 10 days just for cleaning $.$

I can live w/t 14-42mm for my trip since got 20mm 2molo..but just need a fast sensor cleaning.
