hello everyone, I just bought a PX100 - first edition from ebay. Been using it for 2 weeks, it's getting brighter everyday.
My usage on PX100 usually with my asus U1.
I does gave some testing to the px100 with my NAD amp, it's damn nice.

Yes I think I do qualified to be an entry level audiophile after owning the wharfedale bookshelf and NAD Integrated Amp. Now waiting for my DAC to be delivered.

I am using the headphone in my workplace, wearing a big can will makes me look too nerd.
PX100 is the biggest I can tolerate.
After owning many many cheapo headphone in the past, I am now really satisfied with my first senn.

Just wanna share my thought after listening PX100 with cheapo Fiio E3.
Background, my source is foobar and asus U1. I would never think that E3 could improve SQ as the asus U1 had enough power to pump my PX100.
However I still prefer with the E3 attached.

IMHO, the E3 push lot of main voice far behind the soundstage and only leaving instrument sound at front (when listening to most pop song). Bass definitely coming in faster and stronger. The bass and mid section is now really well controlled.

Ok, have to admit that some high freq is gone, but the clarity is preserved with a comfortable level. So I would not upgrade untill this px100 gave up.

I have tried the E3 with koss porta pro as well, it perform even better.
Finally, I think I know what is real clarity and soundstage means coz my reference is NAD amp -diamond 10.1

It's huge difference for me this because I am wearing headphone most of the time during work (software guy here). Without amp is like pouring music into my brain and fatigue come in very soon.

Actually similar effect from headphone amp could be simulated by dolby headphone technology. But it is not really musical. Ok , headphone amp will be another poison for me now.

Yes, I like to compare audiophile as drug addicts and I always remind myself to wakeup and back to real life .

If anyone dare to take risk, you could buy from ebay. There is some buyer protection if you didnt receive or get fake item. Its generally much cheaper than you can get in Malaysia. Uk seller is recomended and their shipping fee is very reasonable. Don worry much about getting taxed, unless you order very expensive stuff. Just don trust china seller.
