Anyone had a picture of HD202 after tearing the outer layer of the padding? Added on May 12, 2011, 10:20 pmQUOTE(Invalid Username @ May 12 2011, 08:23 PM) hi guys, i'm new to these audiophile stuff and wanna get into it now. i'm planning to buy a headphone for around rm 200-250 (possibly IEMs too, depends.) currently i am thinking about the Senn HD202. hw is it? and also do you guys think headphone / IEM is better? open/half open/ closed? sorry for these questions. i'm new to these stuff Sennheiser HD202 is not bad, but there are some leaks as it doesn't really cover up your ears with the cup. QUOTE(egyprince @ Sep 14 2011, 02:25 PM) I think better fund for better model. I see someone selling HD595 over there. http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2033108 maybe u can check it out. And i think the price is quite near to your budget. haha..i quickly grab it..as i already love ms1 sounding previosly ....its just very very comfortable wearing the big bowl pad.....more then any headphone i experience so far.. his HD595 is over budget for me. Plus I gotta sell my DT440 first, or should I just stay with this? MS1 does sounds great but I don't like their pads, not good for using long in my room, my room is warm, after sometime the foam will starts to tear off

Yeah 595's I don't need to worry, but 595 need more cash

QUOTE(egyprince @ Sep 15 2011, 08:27 PM) How long have your fren been using the headphone ?? For me i feel like beyer have a better quality compare to senn in the same price. Senn 5x5 series mostly are using plastic only. Beyer is using metal headband Not long, just a month. MY beyer DT440 plastic headband also Anyway, he mailed sennheiser SG and malaysia about this issue, they are willing to change the headband at no cost

I'm getting a HD558 this Sunday, but there's still some doubt, one of my friends having cracking problem on his headband, there are some of the headfi forumers claim that they are also having this problem. Should I still go for it?

QUOTE(Quazacolt @ Nov 24 2011, 02:48 AM) if you're siding with AT, id HIGHLY recommend the AD900 instead. for senn, could think of 598 if ur on a budget, else 650 it is. Ad900 is great, heard it before, both AD900 and HD598 is out of my budget

QUOTE(GenericMav @ Nov 24 2011, 07:11 AM) still have doubt with AD700 over AD900, a slightly different in price, but yeah, you know the rules tried HD650 before, and i still couldnt squeeze the juice out of it with my cheapo rigs my setup also, can't squeeze. If i straight jump to hd650. I kena go get a loan.
