I don't think R. will be that pleased to see you coming in his shop with a botched job he has to rectify.

Which is the reason I would never show him the jacket as long as he's alive. In fact, he asked me to bring along my jacket for comparison few weeks ago. I refused by saying I left it somewhere in your place.

Here is the list of what I've done.
1. Resew all of his buttons
2. Slightly trim padding around the sleeve head
3. Pick-stitched all over the suit
4. Reset the lapel roll
5. Remove and re-stitch sleeve lining(also removed couple of tacks securing the lining along the sleeve seam)

Have you considered trying a slightly extended shoulder? I can see your deltoids. Probably 1/4inch more.

Just showing off the long lost art of rolled up pants. You should be proud.

Seems like lots of shaping need to be done.

What are those 'buttons' made of!?

Added on August 17, 2010, 11:03 pmWhat do you feel about the shoulders? I think they can be reduced.

Jacket must be shortened.

Softer and narrower.

That's minimal padding?

Why don't you wear a thick sweater during the fitting?

Your shoulder width might appear right when worn over a sweater.

Just got back from the final fitting of my 3 piece. Please don't ask for any pics.

I'm surprised with how soft the shoulder padding is.

The final revelation will be somewhere around mid October. Exact date and time TBA...

Please don't blame me.

R: Gor jor raya sin hoi gong!

Me: WTF?

By the way, there are still minimal divots on the shoulder. However he assured me with his life that it won't be there once the sleeveheads are finished properly. I don't think I can sleep for this month. And the next.

Speaking of forward pleats, R likes making a deep pleat.

On my recent 'linen'...

Here's a golden tip:

Setting higher heat would also make the suit shinier!
