» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Went to my first fitting session at ALT today. Anything wrong with this suit? Apparently my right arm is longer than my left, and my right arm is bigger compare to my left arm, thus you can see the difference it make on the suit. QUOTE(kotmj @ Aug 11 2011, 08:45 PM) It is pretty good for a first fitting for first suit. The sleeves' curvature at the front looks optimal. The back of the sleeves looks good but could be tweaked (straightened). I also like the front chest width. Is there sufficient back width? No idea. Cannot see a thing. kot you are right bro... alt says i have a sloped right shoulder. I wonder how he can fix that. He did point it out though. he says it looks a bit odd now because my right arm is bigger and he will try to adjust a little bit, if he adjust more he said itll make the suit looks disproportionate. Back balance had to be shortened 3/4" as have been pinned, but I suspect there is also a dropped right shoulder he is hoping you would not notice. Have you tried sitting down on a chair in those trousers? You should because he likes cutting overly slim trousers which only become apparent when you try sitting down in them. It is not clear how well the collar fits since your shirt collar was not buttoned and the back pic was overexposed. I get the impression the collar should be higher. Sleeves as usual should be 1/4" to 1/2" shorter. Trousers 1" shorter. That is all I can tell from the pics. If I see it in person I will no doubt discover more things especially with the trousers which is often given low priority by customers and therefore also tailors. Is the Dunhill cloth what you hoped it would be? Did you give the secret handshake to get the gimp? The trousers when i put them on, he immediately suggested to shorten it, i gladly obliged because he told me that traditionally the trousers should look all straightend, but he said nowadays guys like their trousers slightly longer, but i told him i just want to look how a traditional suit would look. So he said he will shortened it for me. About the trousers i will try sitting down on my next fitting session which is 1 week from now. sleeves he pinned it shorter when i first put on the suit. So it should be shorter by 1/4" further? he said he will shortened it a little to show more shirt. And kot i didnt get the dunhill cloth, i used alt house mohair cloth since i need the suit done asap. would be good if you can come to my next fitting. no i didnt give the secret handshake haha, i thought it was a joke. Anyways do you think you'll be free next week? Would be an honour having a fitting session with you bro. |

QUOTE(kotmj @ Sep 20 2011, 02:39 PM) Yes I will hire ravishingly beautiful girls (part-time college students) to service my customers in the shop. They will be dressed very tastefully (men's taste, not women's). Think Victoria's Secret. +1 for beautiful college studentsAdded on September 20, 2011, 3:06 pmI discovered a shop in KL that sells skins. Leather, but the whole piece. The price sounds quite reasonable too. They have several hundred types there. Thinking of making a leather holster for my Shozaburo. QUOTE(kotmj @ Sep 21 2011, 10:26 PM) Lokemui is coming to KL to do his internship, I wonder if anyone has warned him not to go out alone at night to 7/11 or wherever because of all the indonesian workers who go about in groups and who are very horny LOL |

QUOTE(hexion @ Sep 28 2011, 10:20 PM) huhhh, dude im not the jaw-dropping hot 1 but if you insist u can lurk up my picture in /k/ section but i think it not worth your effort and time at all. hahahah. if you bother to read a few post before this kot recommended a very good fabric for suiting. Lurk more.the solid reason behind the mysterious suit im about to get soon is to built-up my confidence with my appearance and presentation to the public. about the fabric i have absolutely no ideas on what to get and where to start, can recommend something n come-on give me some sight and ideas. totally clueless only know how to look at it outer appearance not the inner part. but i do want an appropriate materials for malaysia climate. im kinda easy to sweat if im getting away from the a/c. |
