Hi,

I'm wondering how strong is Tamiya's epoxy putty (quick type) since I'm in the progress of recasting my MG Heavyarms shoulder joint which twisted clean off..

will it hold as long as standard gundam plastic? does it wear out faster than normal plastic?

thanks.

defiantly will not be as strong as plastic. it will probably be good for a substitute, but don't expect it to be as good as plastic. instead of recasting, why not just glue it back?

gluing it back (even with inserting a metal rod) is not an ideal solution to a high stress part, isnt it? this is the peg that protrudes from the body and inserted into the shoulder and holds the entire arm. hmm.gif
