Anyone can do me a favour by capturing the main bios screen for me? After sending in for MB replacement, the info was not set back correctly. By the way, you may mask out the important inof like your serial number. Thanks.

Hmm...I seldom uses battery except during my classes.

If just reading Ms Word documents, probably 4~5 hours if under power saving.
Other than that just 2~2.5 hours.

Thanks. My bluetooth Icon missing since forever. tongue.gif
YouTube's 720p and 1080p HD is still below par for me. I do a lot of HD uploading on YT so I can see the loss of quality there. But for casual viewers it's okay, since YouTube is purely optimized for quality + compression.
But still, using flash on browsers will take up a lot of CPU power..
You guys might upgrade to Flash Ver. 10.1 too since it has added GPU acceleration capability.

Yeah me too. If at home, mostly just plugged in.

TBH, this laptop isn't really hot. I've laid on the couch and put it thigh for a few hours. It's pretty cool.
Of course, one might stay away from playing intensive games like that. laugh.gif

If warcraft is not that hot, just that some very intensive game like Civ 4 really can make the laptop hot shocking.gif

BTW, how's everyone's webcam functioning?
For me, the camera is quite crap.

Even my dad's 4 year old C2D Acer's Crystal Eye webcam have more depth and fluidity. Sigh.

Not only that, I have a problem with the lan driver too. Wireless works good though.

For now, I'm using vmware image. So it works but not fluid enough, slight problems here and there.
Might work on dual boot and finding the best distro. It's damn hard. shakehead.gif

But seriously, OSX is plenty easy.

hmm i am interested in this question too as the price diff is small between the two model.

i know the 4820 is thinner, only got 3usb vs 4usb, 1yr warranty vs 3yrs, higher capacity battery but the keyboard flex badly unlike the 4745g hmm.gif

Well, 4820TG offer you a more stylist design (TimelineX series) and long hours battery life (8 hours) while 4745G is a normal aspire series, the spec is the same so go with either one is still good nod.gif

well, if the timeline's battery life is accurate at around 7-8 hours and you're main concern is battery power, better take that cause the 4745G would probably max out at around 5 with intel graphics and all the power saving options turned on
