ya ka?
dunno..
i think it's just hard to find kot..
or probably coz they found out ad500 and ad700 not far off.. so had to eliminate one product..
or probably ad700 is replacement of ad500
or.. <insert speculation here>... hmm.gif

i would suggest that u go for the ad700 instead of ad500 for gaming. the difference in $$ is not much if u know where to look smile.gif
ad700 pawns a lot of more expensive cans when it comes to gaming coz of it's expansive soundtage ... steelseries is nothing... really... nothing cool2.gif

I'm not using it for gaming purpose, more to 95% music and 5% gaming only.

if you want gaming i would susgest ad900 because of it's wide sound stage

If you want isolation or bass i think you should go for a900. It's a closed headphone

The main diff between the AD series and A series of the ATH line is that AD = open, A = closed smile.gif
and if you're planning to get AD900 for gaming, may I humbly suggest you also audition the dt880 from beyer? The price is similar and it wouldn't hurt to try both before you decide notworthy.gif
