Hi DrJackel I see u own a lot of woody mostly on audio technica. How bout denon? Any recommandation for woody below 2k? How's d SQ for Esw9, Esw10? I mostly listen to vocal, jazz, some classical.

Denon i would definitely go for Flagship if i want to. If recommendation for below 2k woody headphone mostly you can get use one only. W1000 is still got a brand new one but is hard to find due to disconinued in market. If you talk about ESW9 and ESW10JPN is totally different sq in terms of ESW10JPN is much specific in Female Voice, Sounstage wide compare ESW9. The good is ESW10JPN is not neccessary need a amp for it. If can find a brand new one is cost you more than RM3k for it. use one moslty around RM2.5K. ESW10JPN is a rare item and limited production only got 1500 units. 500 unit only distributed to Worldwide meanwhile another 1000 unit remained in Japan states. Woody has a very special sound which is natural sounding which normal metal or plastic headphone doesn't have. Both good in Jazz, Vocal and Classical. But if you have some extra cash then go for ESW10JPN.

Oppss look like it will be so hard to find esw10jpn. Heheh. Any other recommendation for woody? Haizzz y woody jus so expensive. Haha

after having ck10 for sometime.. 3months?
i recently found out i was wearin it wrong..

better sounding now.. the frequency response is dead flat from bottom to tops.. except for a dip.. starting arnd maybe 70-90Hz (sub bass, feel only, at least 5db lacking, i think more, that's almost a quarter amount), and also a spike arnd the 10-14 kHz (the sparkling taste on high freq notes, not quantity. at least 3db.. maybe 4?).. not sure exactly where.. otherwise.. really flat.
if anyone who tries them found there's too much treble quantity instead of treble sparkle, means the fit is not good.

bass quantity feels lacking because the bass have enough amount of all the frequency needed except the subbass, which gives the massive body, strength and feel to the bass. i think if just hearing.. it would be adequate most of the time. those phones that can present huge drums as sounding and feeling very big usually have good sub-bass..

since im still a bass lover after all.. ck10 is just a bit below satisfactory.. but it already provides most of it. i wont be dissapointed, but i will still be left wanting.. >_<

On the ears type, if wearing it for long hours, the outer ears can feel a bit pain/numb also.
