a little about athlon64 plss what the different between athlon64 0.09 and 0.13 (s754) and all athlon s754 can chnage multiplyer? stepping CO and CG CG is more good ocer?? comment plss

i just bought my 2nd rig amd64 s754 (budget pc) athlon64 2800+ with asus K8N Ai mobo and successfully oc to 2.3ghz 260*9 at default vcore, and my system bus is 1560 (260*HT(3) *2), ram divider 333 (408mhz) 2.5-3-3-8 1T when it boot windows XP pro it took a long time on high HT but on windows x64 it sure fast i just wanna know y?? and when i oc more the system wont boot up even i reduce the HT to 1 and ram divider to 266 and also rise the vcore to 1.6v any tips guys thx

finally i can reach 2.4ghz on my 2800+ with 1.55vcore and it stable on running games run prime only 30mins but i will try to run longer, ram 440mhz (2.5-3-3-8) system bus 1620mhz

the prob is when i try reduce the HT multipyer and try to increase the fsb it wont boot even i loosen ram timing. i wanna try to 2.5ghz any more tips that might help

the best part is i even try all voltage below default voltage it sucessfully load to window later wanna try 1.3v btw is it idle 38c load 49c is a good temp?

omg!!! 2800+ can do 2.7ghz??!!! what setting on ur ram?? and ur system bus..

guys iam plannig to buy crosshair value ram or kingmax dual channel ddr433 which 1 is ok cost currenty iam using my other rig ram...

that 1 kingston or crossair value ram??

guys my question a bit sound of noob (coz iam noob) may i know hoy the calculation between fsb and ram divider 100/133/166/200...iam kinda blur thx...

it just like athlon xp mobo divider, 1:1, 1:2 ,5:6 etc.... so to get the divider exp: 200:166 we just simplify it... is it one more thing..let say my fsb is 200 and HT multiplyer is set to 4 so its 800 rite and it'll multiply again by 2 so a total of 1600mhz system bus, where did the multiply 2 come from?? thx

from the pic below my 1st try for reaching 2.5ghz successful on arithmetic benchmark failed on memory benchmark i disable the 1T command even try 2.5-3-3-8 but loosing some timing might work fine rite?? plsss shifu help mee...

guys y when i set the HT multiply to 2 or 1 it cant oc?? only 3 capable to oc that make my system bus 1680 when my fsb 280*9 and mem divider 333...and i got hynix dt-d43 512mb pc3200 how far this baby can go?? currently i try on 230mhz and ran memtest got error i set the timing to 3.0-4-4-11 is it good timing?

u mean decrease cpu multiplyer and increase fsb to achieve 2.5ghz??
that mean i drop the multiply 8.5*300 2.5 ghz and set the ddr divider to 266 is it like that?? so the ht multiply can set to 2?

the prob is when i set the 300fsbx3(ht) = 900 then when i check in si soft sandra that 900 multiply again with 2 so my system bus is 1800mhz above my mobo spec that support only 1600mhz system bus btw if my fsb 300 diver ram is 266 my ram speed is 210mhz rite?? thx...

guys help me setup my rig... ok i finally manage oc my s752 2800+ at 2.6ghz with ddr divider 333 (240mhz) 2.5-4-4-10. 1st iam using 1.6v and ran prime got error less then 1 minute..then i increase to 1.65 gor error also on 10-15 minutes guys what is actually the best vcore for 2.6ghz?? if i increase to 1.7++ is it will harm the proc?? my temp is 38c idle amd64 max die is 70c rite??

ok i tried already...the ram cannot boot on cas 3 only on 2.5 my max fsb is 290fsb i have to put divider coz my mem cannot handle 290 so my current setting is fsb 285*9.0, ddr 233mhz 1T enable system bus 1710mhz my mobo didnt have chip volt features and my mem volt only 2.8v i try increase the fsb to 290 and disable 1T also got error ...before this i already try my mem can reach 250mhz with 1T enable rock stable!!! i think my mem controller isnt good enuff aye??
