QUOTE(PCcrazy @ May 19 2005, 12:11 AM) I dont think anyone in here is using that mobo... these board can hit 300++ FSB easily bro.. Its a great budget mobo, maybe less feature than the SLI version but as far as performance is concerned, that particular mobo is not inferior at all to ultra-D... but over 300HTT i dun know if the board can take it or not.. Are u planning on another bulk More pics here: http://forums.vr-zone.com.sg/showthread.ph...3178#post673178 Detail here: http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticl...274&articID=318 check out review at XS forum.. of course they used TCCD ram la.. bulk.. dont think so la.. but i already asked winc87.. QUOTE(remysix @ May 21 2005, 08:58 AM) nailed the culprit...i think i got a bad stick...tried one stick at a time...1st one can do 220@2226 with 3.20vdimm...ran for 10hrs...no error...the second one...at 200@2226 with 3.20vdimm...70K of errors without finishing a single round...i did full test...so, set the timing down to the spd...200@2.5338 with vdimm 3.20v...same results...tons of errors...i tested it on yellow dimm...so changed to orange...same result...using 510-2 bios which is optimized for bh5/utt type of rams remysix, and also...that bad stick couldnt load windows at spd...always got that SOB BSOD screen...now using windows using the good stick...aiya...hate to do the RMA thingy... i highly recommend u to post your problem here.. they have dedicated OCZ Support Forum... the OCZ support team is great ! give them a try.. http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=45 http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=138 |

guys.. i need help..
my next system gonna be.. Venice 3000+ 2x256mb Kingston HyperX PC3200 BH5 DFI LP NF4-D / DFI NF4 DAGF i'm thinking of these settings.. HTT = 300mhz HT Freq = 3x Multiplier = 9x Set Memory Divider = DDR 333 Vdimm = 3.2V ( my BH5 can do DDR500 @ 3.1V ) the result would be.. CPU Speed = 300 x 9 = 2700mhz Memory Speed = DDR 500 @ 300 HTT (using divider) 1. is there any known issues when running BH5 + NF4 + dividers ? 2. does my calculation on divider correct ? 3. which board should i go DAGF = RM 380 or NF4-D = RM 560 ? is it worth to add another RM 180 for NF4-D This post has been edited by dinster: Jul 3 2005, 12:35 AM |

okay.. sorry but.. i do not need SLI, NCQ, 4.0 Vdimm and Sata 2 3.2 vdimm is enough for me.. so.. in my case.. should i go for DAGF ? me really really have to minimise the cost.. This post has been edited by dinster: Jul 3 2005, 01:52 AM |

QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Jul 4 2005, 09:37 PM) DFI DAGF is a good choice considering you are not going for SLI setup. If you are really on a budget, you don't need bling stuffs IMO. Furthermore you've mentioned that the RAM is capable of pulling impressive figures at 3.2v. But I ask most of the shop at LYP, they are not selling DAGF. Personally dinster, DAGF is a good choice, in fact perhaps I should be getting one. My NEO2 is just too old. already bought the DFI NF4 DAGF = RM 365 from Viewnet according to Kenn Lim (Robyncom) the DFI NF4 Infinity is coming next week.. but if u look at DFI website. all i can say is DFI DAGF = DFI Infinity |

good news for DFI NF4 DAGF = DFI NF4 Infinity like me
there's a new Beta BIOS available (August 1st, 2005) using it right now.. far better than the official 2005/06/13 here's the link.. QUOTE http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/BIOS/CK84D801.zip Beta - 2005/08/01 1. Patch TRC, TRFC, TRP setting incorrect. 2. Patch DDR Output driving makes no effect after save and exit. 3. Refresh Rate (TREF) adjustment method turns into cycle time. 4. CPU Voltage Control: 0.025V each step. anyways, in my Super Bulk v7, there will be OEM AMD64 Venice Rev.
