QUOTE(PCcrazy @ Oct 1 2005, 09:12 PM) Great, now show us some real potential of the chip. Jack up the vcore to 1.65v and see whether it can do wonders. it believe d chip itself is gud, but d components i have at this moment are not up to d task: an nf3 mobo, not top of d line psu and most importantly -> not so skillful owner... i'm not so satisfied w/ my cooling as well, full load @ >50'C is really dissapointing... |

QUOTE(Jian_yi @ Oct 11 2005, 06:46 PM) Sorry, is 0529EPMW(not 0529BPMW) Sempron64 2600+ I have tried to hit this processor at GA-K8NS also can't hit over than 210Mhz @.@... GA-K8NE(BIOS F6), GA-K8NS(BIOS F17) both of the mainboard also can't hit it over than 210Mhz... Before I use 0530 of Sempron64 2600+ processor I success hit it on 300Mhz with GA-K8NS, AMD Sempron64 2600+ 1.6Ghz @ 2.4Ghz running Super PI 32M pass, but now I using same BIOS, Memory Latancy configure hit this 0529EPMW fail, so I wanna tell everyone, the 0529EPMW 2600+ is rubbish..... a processor done well on a mobo doesn't mean d other will do d same, anyway amd doesn't guarantee d users dat d processors they're selling are ALL oc'able rite? QUOTE(GHz1 @ Nov 7 2005, 10:15 AM) ooo like that... dats pretty normal mate, i faced dat w/ my nF3 Ultra-D too. idle bout 42'C, when primin reachin 55'C... Btw, anybody using MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum? My temp is really wierd. Anybody face this problems b4? 10C jump is really odd rite.. Is that becoz of HSF or Bios? One more thing, why the voltage in bios and CPUZ or MBM is different? Normally in Bios is higher.. Thanx. |

QUOTE(GHz1 @ Nov 8 2005, 10:20 AM) Mine like crazy one.. idle 40-41C, load 56-59C (almost 15C-19C jump) i believe it's d onboard sensor thingy rather than d hsf itself. neway, ninja is a great hs, imo, should be betta than any tr hs available. d only thing i dun like bout it is d weight... Any solution? Change HSF? He he still waiting my NINJA from din. btw, some input needed from u guys. is fluctuation w/ d psu will cause primin fail? @9*301 my vcore fluctuates between 1.456~1.472 (bios set = 1.52) when i do primin and it always failed within an hour. @9*297 however when i set vcore = 1.45 in bios (windows show 1.408), no fluatuation shown and eveything goes pretty well so far. do u guys think it's becoz of psu problem or nf3 thingy (can't do high htt), i'm a bit of confuse now... |

QUOTE(Najmods @ Nov 20 2005, 01:04 AM) Why would when I o/c to 1.9GHz the Prime95 always error while when play games or benching it didnt? Even when I play memory-hog games like BF2 it didnt crash but it plays smooth as butter, and play CPU-intensive games as C&C Generals wont crash? coz d calculation of d 2 is different. windows/program stable not necessarily means dat prime stable... |
