I think up to 2.65ghz is stable to prime under default. I tried to prime 10minute and it pass. Tonite gonna prime till tmr n post my result again. Btw i feel my abit NF8 mobo got good capasitor. My icute psu giving me good rail compare to my other mobo. It giving me constant +5v and +12v . So i gonna use icute for this rig n purepower for 2ndary rig.

Jslut, sempron64 2800+ here with NF8
On stock heatsink and 1.45v.

KenL, that weird that your proc hit only 250HTT. Everyone here hit 300Htt easily and i personally run it under 2.7ghz for a week before.

Set your
HTT ratio to 3x once you over 250HTT
Your mem timing try run it abit relax for example 7-3-3-2.5 and on 1T. Sempron64 do better on 1T. Up your HTT voltage if you need. Mayb you try 2:1 divider. HTT250 is a nice number and seem sumthing is pulling it back. Your mobo have pci/agp lock?

KenL, try find the agp clock option. And set it to 67. And wat HDD u using? PATA or sata? u try plug off you HDD and c how high u can go in bios. Mayb ur PCI not lock that y u stuck at 260. When i test your proc, it straight jump to 300HTT on 1st trial no error.
My testrig is very simple, only ram gpu proc and hdd. No cdrom n other stuff.

Try look for agp clock and set it to 67.

That weird, 1st time i heard sempron unable to hit 300HTT. Mayb ur setting in ur bios limiting u? Do u try play with HTT ratio?

Try burn without fan. I done that to mine . Maintance temp around 75C for 3 days and improve abit.

From 2.68ghz ( 335x8) to 2.75 ( 344x8) after i burn . But i use sandra burn in wizard for that.

Consider good if 2.5ghz above. Because all s64 capable for 2.4ghz default. IF 2.7ghz default..den mayb consider gem.

Btw...my venice hitting 2.6ghz at 1.5v, 2.7ghz at 1.625v..and 2.8ghz at 1.725v. Is this good enuff? It quite stable at priming.

I would say...it the motherboard limited them. My sempron2800+ which capable of 2.7ghz...cant even pass 1.9ghz on my abit kv8pro and 2.0ghz on Ecs Kv1 deluxe..
Some sempron in the front page are bottleneck by the ram. And some is the divider not working. With DFi or Nf3 chipset mobo...sure can hit 2.4ghz easily for 2800+.
