Sandisk is always the best. 
umm, if we hold it anyway we like, the signal wont drop. I think that's a defect because the latest superphone have that signal dropping feature (and a rubber band).

Ok, jokes aside. One thing about the N1 is that you have to get used to the soft keys. It's not a defect per say, but that's one of the things people (including myself) have trouble transitioning to. Other than that, the speaker is not as powerful as a Hero. Perhaps it's due to N1's noise canceling feature.

My N1 is currently suffering from frequent reboot when comes under heavy use (playing 'Skies of Glory') or becomes warm (using GPS for more than 1 hour).

So far, the phone never reboots or restarts under other conditions. I am suspecting a faulty battery with an unstable power supply or low memory (quite unlikely since the internal phone storage is currently available @ 72.36MB).

I have emailed HTC and called Google Nexus One in US to troubleshoot/pinpoint the problem to the battery. So I am going to call HTC Singapore tomorrow to claim the warranty on the battery and see if they can have it delivered to Malaysia via their distributor here (SiS Disribution Sdn Bhd).

In the mean time, is there anyone here suffering from the same fate as my N1?

that fastboot screen is the bootloader.. just select reboot to get out of it..

if the phone's bootloader is unlocked, you will see a lock logo when u turn on your phone like this

hmm. didn't encounter this.. is ur phone in silent mode? 

hmm.. not sure.. but if i silent my phone and shut down that time press the volume button will vibrate.. but it can be turned on after that unlike ur case... try wiping ur phone ?.. what rom are u using?

Hi all, I would like to share my experience on the warranty claim for my unlocked and rooted Nexus One. My phone's earpiece was broken which nothing can't hear  from a call. But, it works fine if I plugged in a earphone/turn on the loud speaker. I contacted the Nexus One help support and was told that warranty claim for Nexus One is not available here. Thus, I'll need to send my phone to them in Singapore.

I then sent the phone to a friend in Singapore and asked HTC to collect it. They said they need 3-5 working days on the checking/repair. A few days later I received a call from them asking if I flashed an illegal version of the operating system because the bootscreen looks different. Though, they said the warranty is still valid because that is the earpiece problem not the board. They also warned that if it's something wrong with the board next time, I'll need to pay for the repair.

In total, they spent ~4 working days on my phone. They collected my phone on Tuesday and my friend got it back on the next Tuesday. It was an holiday in Singapore on Monday.

Added on September 16, 2010, 12:43 ambtw, i felt like the internal memory is too small, i moved quite alot apps to the sd card already, but still left 33mb, not many apps on my phone but the memory is low, any ways to squeeze additional space?
