After updating to CM v5.06, my icons now comes with 5 in a row

Any chance to get the icons 4 in a row? A bigger size of icons will help too

Thanks a lot bro, it works like charm.

Just wanna ask you guyz, after flashing to CM 5.0.6, Does the battery drains faster?

By the way GTalk Service and Fring Call Service always starting on its own even after I stop it, Applications>Running Services>Apps>Touch and Stop. Is there anyway not to let those apps running in background unless we select to open it manually?

Appreciate some answers please?

By the way how to install ADW Launcher, seems to be too technical for me. Can someone list down the steps to install it?

Yeah! ADW Launcher is damn cool! using it now biggrin.gif

Installation instruction at:
http://forum.legendroid.com/applications/a...other-launcher/

Ok guyz, hope this time I wont be labelled as need to be 'spoonfeed' again

I followed exactly what is shown in the link above. After some trial and error process, I manage to install it as I can see rar and lab small icon on my homescreen. But I'm still with 5 pages homescreen and I cant find ADW Settings or Icon.

Have I missed out something?

Guyz

Just tought, maybe I could share a trick with you guyz.

For those who are having problem to start YXFlash after rooting and instaling CM 5.0.6, just move the app to Internal memory. Then it will never give FC error again.

there are quite a number of problem if you read along at xda-developers thread on froyo. There are 16 pages at written time

So, I would suggest all of us to wait till CM releases its polished update on Froyo. Just my personal opinion though

Guyz, is it advisable to update to the pre released froyo or just wait for CM to release a proper version? Or wait for google to release it officially?

Wipe is format - depending on what you are wiping. When you partitioned your SD card, you built several parts of the SD card. Remember? ext, etc. When you do a factory reset, stuff that you can access when your SD card is mounted is NOT deleted. It will only be deleted if you break your partitions and repartition your SD card. Becareful with that.

Thats a better reply from our SIFU shahz

Added on May 27, 2010, 3:22 pmi've set my N1's sms limit to 5000 but i still get hit by the sms storage full limit, is there any way to fix this? Also after i delete my sms'es, i dont get the new SMS that i'm suppose to get, is there any way to retrieve it?

I totally agree with both of u. I dont think extra RAM will kill N1. There are many ways hack/ tweak N1 than Desire i guess.

Personally, I still prefer N1 from the name to the spec. Its simply superb

Bro, Andrewtst

Remember you have posted about ADW Launcher, and I saw that you have quite a number of widgets of your 7 pages screen.

Does it run in background ie when you select running application, do you see for eg. retro clock or battery widget running? Does consume more battery power than usual?

I have installed ADW Launcher with some widgets such as 3G Watchdog, Retro Clock / Date, Battery Widget, Memory Widget, SetCPU, Facebook, Twitter, Power Control and etc. From my experience it really consumes the battery, sometimes It only last for 8hrs.

FYI, I'm on CM 5.0.6. I have also installed Advanced Task Killer and set it to kill selected application every 30 minutes, but still the same.

So, maybe when you are free just leave some comments.

New ADW Launcher v0.7 final is out on Market, just remove your current one and download the market version and install. It run perfectly on Froyo include fully support of New Google Search Widget.
Bro, you have damn nice wallpapers + widgets.

Does the widgets runs in background? Ie you can see it in running applications? How long does your battery last after installing those widgets?
