For those using custom rom with App2SD enable. I would suggest backup all the content of your SDcard first.
This stock froyo ROM will not recognize the apps install on previous App2SD (from custom rom) For me, I will use this stock froyo as temporary first. Then once Cyanogen come up with its custom rom based on froyo. I will flash it. This post has been edited by mikelanding: May 23 2010, 02:15 PM |

Why you guys keep saying this is a non official release? Just because App2SD not working?
It is not because of froyo. It is because of App developer need to declare android:installLocation manifest attribute for it to enable app to install on SDcard. Please refer to below for more detail: http://android.modaco.com/content/google-n...navailable-atm/ |

QUOTE(kc_soo @ May 23 2010, 11:11 PM) Erm~ looks like i have to hold myself from updating it to Froyo since some ppls got problem with the current released version. (^^) Dun really had any problems.I got only 1 phone now~ scare to take risk~ haha from soo Phone feture work well App2SD just few adb command away Few apps still had minor glitches, but most of app worked. But if U already on custom rom. U can wait longer for custom rom that base on Froyo. But for unroot N1, you gain more features Added on May 23, 2010, 11:20 pm QUOTE(kc_soo @ May 23 2010, 11:16 PM) yeah~ wait for the update 1st~ haha (^^) Correction:The only reason i am keen to update to Froyo 2.2 is because of its app2sd function. haha~ since the current version haven supported yet~ then i mar wait lo~ from soo It already supported app2sd. Just app developer havent updated their app to support froyo yet. This post has been edited by mikelanding: May 23 2010, 11:20 PM |

I have updated since 5am this morning..
Ok. For those who still want to hoot Desire because its hardware better than Nexus. This article might sway U to N1 camp. http://www.androidcentral.com/why-it-takes...versions-io2010 "Carriers need time to organize and test software updates, people. Your phone is just one of many, and it needs to be done right. And Vic does an excellent job explaining why carriers need time to get out the latest and greatest version of Android." |

QUOTE(bahathir @ May 26 2010, 12:06 PM) Anyone who has AP with wireless N: Ya. I got a Router N at home. I set it to N only. My N1 can detect it! Please try the Nexus One's Froyo wlan-N capabilities. It should connect at N mode. I also found the QuickOffice PDF viewer is much usable now, with the multitouch zooming. This post has been edited by mikelanding: May 26 2010, 01:53 PM |

May I know which program you used to change the icon? I found that 3G connection not so stable. Which setting you use in network type? WCDMA preferred or WCDMA only? Thanks. |
