I'm thinking to share out the cost if I can get someone else to buy 5 toong because I only need 1 toong.

approximate price is RM 418 (RM 1 = RMB 1.83)
approximate shipping charges is RM 145 (RM 12/kg * 10 + RM 25 sensitive good charges)

so all in all, it's about RM 94/toong for 1.4kg of tea!!!

can't even get 1 decent Dayi 2010 357g beeng at RM 94 now.

PM me if interested.

Else, it's RMB 220/toong here http://list.tmall.com/search_shopitem.htm?...1_&stype=search and works out to be about RM 170 all-in.

Hehe yeah true. but funny thing was last time when i visited Hojo, i asked about their Dah Yu Ling... and their first question was how did i know about that tea.

After i mentioned that i bought from taiwan... they gave up on trying to promote it to me, saleslady said she know i won't buy from them coz i know the price in taiwan...hehehe... anyway, tried it before, and to me, what they sell is pretty on par with what i got from taiwan! biggrin.gif
Kitty Kat, hope u can recommend me some tea merchants in Taiwan, i do hope to go there again... probably next yr. then will include tea/tea ware hunting in my itinerary...  brows.gif

the prices are mainly on the high side.. didnt really checked out the teapot.. but the cheapest i saw was RM150.. the unique design cost few thousands!.. bought a teapet (laughing buddha).. and also a tray that cost only RM70.. bought also 1kg of black tea.. all of these from a shop by the Fang family (Fang De Jin, Fang Zhi Yun and Fang Zhi Xia).. nice people..

too much choices on tea so didnt try much.. and i reached around 7.30pm.. so don have much time also..
